Our dogs love it 🐾 🐶🐾🐶
Awesome secure dog field. Beautiful setting with lots to do and explore for wet noses and waggy tails.
Brilliant place. My 2 Jacks loved it. One of them is highly reactive so this safe place is perfect for her.
Wonderful secure field, lots of different activities for the dogs, water provided and in a lovely quiet area!
Nice big field with different zones: sandpit, tunnels, weave posts, seesaw, platforms to climb. There is a picnic bench and a basic shelter. My dog had a great time.

It was nice to meet u today Bella enjoyed meeting u.
Laura helped us train our lunatic wire haired viszla, she was fantastic. We now have a very obedient, lunatic of a dog :D
The best dog trainer who knows what she is talking about! Laura is amazing with all breeds of dogs, she is very knowledgeable and this really comes across. She takes time and pride making sure the foundations in training are met and reinforces the fact it’s us owners that need to do the work too!
Laura is great with dogs of all ages. From diet advice to behaviour issues. Thoroughly recommend.

Very friendly and run very well.
I have had such a good experience on the social walks Emma organises that I felt compelled to leave a review. Emma is so lovely and calm and creates such a non-judgemental and supportive environment for everybody and she's wonderful with the dogs. I would really recommend.
Our 1st time visiting Emma and her training group for a dog workshop on her working farm. The location was beautiful in the open countryside and me and my 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed the workshop. Emma has so much patience, explain things really clearly, is very calm, has plenty of advice and is a very positive trainer. We'll definitely be back for more fun!
I recently took park in Emma's beginner barn hunt workshop with my Airedale Terrier. He loved it and we had a great time. Fab facilities and Emma was great to work with.

Westwoofs has been brilliant for us. We've been able to completely relax, knowing that our dog is socialising and having fun in such safe hands with an experienced team. Thank you all!!
Our dog has been going to WestWoofs since summer of 2022 and she loves her days in there. It’s actually embarrassing how she rushes to get in as soon as I open the door for her and she never looks back!
Very professional and caring. Lots of the team are very highly trained in animal behaviour and it shows. A fantastic and safe space for us to leave our dog with once a week, for over 2 years now. I cannot recommend highly enough.
The very best doggie day care. We love the care and attention that Kieran and Bea give our little cocker spaniel Arty who has been going to Westwoofs for the last six months. We get little video updates every day and he is always happy and content. He loves going and gets genuinely excited to be seeing his buddies and spending the day. Truly an excellent place for your dog.

We found Rich as we wanted to start some basic gun dog training with our puppy we had few 1-1 sessions and didn’t hesitate to join his beginner gun dog course. He is great with dogs, really knowledgeable and great to work with. You don’t feel any pressure he is really down to earth. The course was well structured and we really took a lot out of it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rich if you are looking for any type of dog training.
We worked with Rich for 10 weeks, completing the Beginner Pet Gundog Course with our stubborn and excitable 12 month old Golden Retriever! Rich has been brilliant, and has helped us improve our dog’s behaviour and focus immensely- we can’t thank Rich enough for his hard work and dedication to him. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him!
Recently attended the Beginners Pet Gundog course - Rich is absolutely brilliant, fantastic with dogs & people. Both my puppy and I got a huge amount out of the course. Very highly recommended!
We first got in touch with Rich wanting some baaic obedience advice for our super bouncy golden retriever puppy. After some 1:1 sessions it was clear we had found the correct person to help us. He took time to listen and address our individual concerns and guided us through. His positive attitude that consistent training pays off has made an amazing difference in our dog’s behaviour. Rich really makes the effort to get to know your dog as an individual, and that has made our training so much easier. We have just completed the beginner pet gundog course, something we never thought would be possible! We would highly recommend Rich for all your dog training needs.
We’ve just completed the beginners gundog course with Rich and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Rich is a knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging trainer who really understands dogs and how to bring out their best. From day one, it was clear that his passion for dogs and deep understanding of gundog training went far beyond basic obedience. He takes the time to understand each dog’s temperament and needs, and the results speak for themselves. I especially appreciated the consistent feedback and ongoing support. Whether you’re training a pup from scratch or refining advanced skills, I highly recommend Country Handlers. This has been a game-changer for both me and my dog. Looking forward to starting the next level!

Bradford-on-Avon presents unique training considerations shaped by its steep hillside location, historic architecture, and thriving community atmosphere. The town's narrow medieval streets, stepped pathways, and Grade I listed buildings create an environment where dogs need excellent lead manners and confidence navigating uneven terrain. Popular walking routes along the Kennet and Avon Canal attract numerous dogs daily, making proper socialisation and recall skills essential.
Local challenges include training dogs to remain calm around the town's tourist attractions, managing encounters with cyclists on canal paths, and ensuring confident behaviour on the town's characterful stone bridges and steep inclines. Our trainers understand the balance between rural countryside access and town centre navigation, preparing dogs for everything from quiet footpaths through Leigh Park Wood to busier market day crowds on Silver Street.
Our puppy programmes build essential skills during the critical 8-16 week development period, introducing young dogs to Bradford-on-Avon's distinctive environment including stone steps, canal-side paths, and historic town centre activity. Training covers house training, basic commands, and controlled socialisation at locations like Barton Farm Country Park, ensuring puppies develop into confident, well-adjusted companions.
We develop reliable recall essential for safely enjoying Bradford-on-Avon's beautiful countryside walks and canal towpaths. Training addresses common distractions including wildlife, other dogs, and canal boats, ensuring your dog responds consistently whether exploring woodland trails or walking through the town centre near the historic Tithe Barn.
Our behaviour modification programmes address leash reactivity and anxiety using positive reinforcement techniques. We work in controlled environments throughout Bradford-on-Avon, gradually building tolerance and teaching calm responses to triggers encountered on narrow pavements, busy canal paths, and in community spaces, replacing unwanted behaviours with focus and self-control.
