I have a 2 year old miniature Jack Russell that I rehomed from a farm. She had not had any previous training so we’ve had to start from the beginning. Lucy gave very clear and helpful information on how to start lead and recall training. She was also reassuring in talking me through coping with separation anxiety and familiarising Bailey with travelling in the car. I cannot recommend Bone Canis highly enough. Cate has been helping me with my extremely challenging excited-reactive Staffie rescue dog for the last couple of months. Through her calm and clear direction, he is beginning to show real improvement. So much better than the frenzied spinning on the lead and high pitched shrieking he displayed previously at just the sight of another dog. Cate has fully explained his behaviours and is working with me to manage and change these, without the need for harsh methods and tools. Something two previous trainers failed to do. Having a reactive dog can be hard and very isolating, but the guidance and understanding Cate provides, builds confidence.and develops the needed skills in a positive and force free way. If you are looking for someone, who provides a fully tailored approach to you and your dog, then please look no further. You won’t be disappointed.
When I messaged Mark about trouble between my two dogs, he responded very quickly. When he came to visit, he was incredibly reassuring, which was much appreciated as I was catastrophising! He gave lots of good advice and pointed out a few things with the dogs that we hadn't considered. Since then, the dogs have had many less grumbles! He clearly loves dogs, and it was really nice to talk about them with him.

It's been so invaluable getting Tess's help with our Golden Retriever puppy, River. Those first couple of weeks with a new puppy can feel so daunting and full on and her help and guidance really gave us confidence but also steered us in the right direction. For example, she effectively fixed our crate issues right away with an idea that we hadn't thought of, and she helped us understand what River might be going through as a pup and that everything we were going through as parents was normal. She helped identify what kind of dog we had (super confident!) and as Tess is a kind and relatable person I found the communication via WhatsApp and voice notes extra helpful. It was such a joy for us to see River on his final social walk interacting so nicely with Tess's other pups and going from strength to strength. Will definitely be using WithMax for more social walks and training as we carry on this journey with our boy!

My daughter and I had a great time at SCDGA with a Virgin Dog Grooming Experience. It was a present from my daughter as we both love dogs and I fancied trying something new. The ladies were so friendly and helpful and took us through every step. Our dog, Monty was so calm and gentle. He definitely helped to make it a very lovely experience. Would recommend to anyone who is a dog lover and wants a fun, interesting experience.
Friendly staff and did such an amazing job grooming my cockapoo Oscar. Would recommend best he has ever looked and such good price so happy will not go anywhere else now I have found this lovely groomers. It’s the second time he has been as both times he has looked so amazing.

Took my little dog Luna in yesterday and although reviews were good tbh I wasn't expecting a lot as it is an academy . I was pleasantly surprised they were very welcoming and Luna was totally pampered , they listened to what I wanted and did exactly that and she looked fantastic when she came out .I've found my new groomers and I now won't go anywhere else. I totally recommend this place it's excellent value for money but with no corners cut , you definitely won't be disappointed.
I have just finished my training with South Coast Dog Grooming Academy and I couldn’t have asked for a better course & trainers. Sarah, Hannah, Paula & Sarah were all so lovely and supportive! You learn lots within the 20 days and I can definitely say I am confident to start up on my own. I would highly recommend this Academy if you can’t commit to too many days a week if you have work or other commitments they are so accommodating.

We have just completed training with Heather from Arun Dog Training and it has really made a difference! The classes were just the right amount of time and Heather has a lovely calm manner. I also loved the fact the classes were small, meaning we could really focus on what was needed - thank you Heather!
I have just finished a training course with my rescue dog, Maggie. Heather was great and Maggie really enjoyed her sessions. She responded well and is much more attentive to me on walks now. Heather tailored the training to suit Maggie and it was very beneficial. Highly recommend Arun Dog Training to anyone.

Stephen has been a HUGE help with training and guiding us to train our Cavapoo Pluto! He has so much knowledge and a massive amount of passion for what he does...and this was very clear to see when he interacted with Pluto. We are first time dog owners and Stephen made us feel completely at ease and explained everything so clearly and in a very acceptable way for us. His training and tips have been invaluable and I would highly recommend him...thank you Stephen!
We have been using Stephen’s excellent training for about 10 sessions for our Labrador puppy. We had already put the basics in place at home - she is particularly good at recall and heeling - but we needed to be able to control her excitability when meeting other dogs and people when on the lead outside home, when all the training seemed to disappear. We are of the older generation and were finding her strength unmanageable when pulling towards other dogs and people and were as a result becoming anxious and avoiding going to busier places. This is where Stephen came in. He is a very calming experienced trainer with lots of common sense and insight into dog behaviour and needs and who immediately clicks in with dogs and owners straightaway making the training highly positive and enjoyable. We now have, thanks to Stephen, a much calmer dog and we also are not so worried about meeting other dogs on walks or even in the street, as he has equipped us to cope with any circumstance. He also keeps in touch helping you between sessions with what you are working on with your puppy and enforcing what he has taught you in the one hour sessions which is very useful. Our kind of over-excitable strong puppy tends not do well in group puppy classes which unfortunately means you end up with a feeling of inadequacy as your dog is too excitable to cope. We were getting worried we wouldn’t be able to keep her - that we had chosen a dog much to strong for us, even though we are fit for our age. These types of dog are so much better treated as individuals by an expert trainer, and Stephen is the perfect ‘Dog Whisperer!’. We are now in a great relationship with our lovely intelligent 10 month puppy who is very well trained and relaxed and every day there is another breakthrough. People are amazed that she behaves so well and is so calm at her young age. Only today I got her back from other dogs and a group of horses and the riders thanked me. I felt a real flush of pride! We cannot recommend Stephen more highly! Thankyou Stephen.

As a first time puppy owner, I think classes with Stephen should be compulsory! He has been nothing but amazing with my dog Millie. I called Stephen as I was at my wits end and really anxious about my dog’s behaviour. Stephen made space to see me the same day and restored complete confidence in me being able to train my puppy properly. We did 2 sessions and it was night and day for Millie and for me. Stephen was patient, calm, non judgey, it was an incredible experience.
