These puppy training classes were excellent! I use a rollator to walk and Kathryn helped me change exercises to accommodate my needs and adjust to doing them with my rollator. The classes were detailed, plenty of opportunity for questions or extra help and taught the basics of puppyhood such as the following commands: Sit, stay, recall, leave it, heel work, focus on owner, etc. The classes were a maximum of 5 which was a lot better and meant Kathryn could give each of us the individual attention and provide alternative ways, adjustments and methods of training. She showed the value of high value versus lower value treats and how to slowly reduce value, quantity and need for treats as we progress and to replace with affection instead of treats. At the end, we got a certificate and rosette for completing the class. I would highly recommend this puppy class for new puppy parents.

Kathryn is a fabulous trainer, the whole puppy training course was so enjoyable. We were all made to feel welcome and comfortable. The easy way in which Kathryn explains things helps you feel confident and motivated to work with your pup. We loved every minute - wish it was a bit longer though as it was so good.
Kathryn is a brilliant trainer. We struggled to get our dog onto a puppy training course and Kathryn suggested the Gun Dog Training Stage 1 as an alternative. This was perfect as we learnt basic commands and developed our bond. We now have the skills needed to manage a very active young dog. We loved it!

Dawn is an amazing dog handler/trainer. She is very enthusiastic, and realistic regarding each dog's ability. Understanding that most of our dogs are pets we want to be happy, sociable animals. Harrison’s Dog Training was recommended by our local vet as an experienced positive skills based trainer. We chose the Pet Gun Dog classes for our Labrador, to work on engagement and impulse control. She has thoroughly enjoyed all the activities and it has been great to see her use her working dog brain in a fun, force free environment. Having taken on a rescue from Romania we were beginning to despair if we could ever get him to settle and behave but Myles gave us the tools and the confidence that made the difference. We now have a more contented and well behaved dog. It takes dedication but with Myles help and support it has been so worth it.

I have been working with Martina with my hard wired Border Collie for several months now and the change in both myself and my dog has been unbelievable. Small steps, patience and persistence certainly does pay off. Martina is a brilliant trainer, she's certainly been patient with not only my dog but me too. I had tried other trainers previously but never seemed to be progressing but now my dog is amazing me on a daily basis and we're moving forward step by step. It's paying off! Originally I contacted Martina regarding training for our rescue, anxious and reactive dog to help us to manage her reactivity around sheep. We have learned so much more! The best thing in having one to one training session with Martina every two weeks is direct and personalised plan. She always has got an advice how to overcome setbacks, and how to adjust training plan according to specific situation. Thanks to Martina I do feel motivated to train with my two dogs for few minutes nearly everyday and can see a big difference in their behaviour. I had several online one-to-one sessions with Martina last year after an initial in person session. These were for me and my adolescent boy that I'd recently taken on after he was found straying in my local area. Martina has a huge amount of knowledge and I have learnt an amazing amount. I also signed up to The Collie Club so that I could continue my learning as I was new to border collies as a breed. There are a vast amount of videos on here and it's great to be able to watch and digest them in your own time. Would highly recommend Martina and The Collie Club for anyone with a herding breed.
