Stacey is so great with Whiskey who absolutely loves going on his walks with her. He gets so much out of it and Stacey always communicates so well with us including pictures and videos of him having the best time!

Very friendly service, and our dog appears to love it, in the way he greets the walker when picking him up from the house, and how he looks in the videos that are sent after each walk.

Very good experience with Annabelle. very professional and friendly. Had a intensive package. Dog was always excited to see her when she picked him up which speaks volumes. Will 100% be using again for further training requirements. Would highly recommend.

I booked my Staffordshire Bull Terrier (Reggie) in after and initial meeting where we went over the dogs needs and training goals. Annabelle was fantastic and had a few recommendations after the initial meeting and I went with the 2 week long package. It has been fantastic, Reggie was reactive towards other dogs and people and would pull on the lead before the training. He now walks well on a loose lead and I can take him past a dog or even to a dog park which I wouldn't dream of doing before. The handover was brilliant and we went through all the habits I need to keep on top of to keep the lessons learned by Reggie consistent. I would highly recommend Prestige Canines to anyone with a difficult dog.

I've been working with Annabelle for the last few months. She's been helping my dog Shadow gain confidence around traffic. Shadow is a very loveable dog but has suffered with extreme anxiety and fear, especially when it comes to moving traffic on a walk. Annabelle has been incredible. From our first one-to-one session, she took the time to get to know Shadow’s personality and needs. She designed a clear, weekly training plan, and has always been just a message away whenever I needed advice or a progress check-in. Thanks to her expertise and patience, Shadow’s confidence around moving vehicles has grown tremendously. Walks are now enjoyable for both of us! I can’t recommend Annabelle and Prestige Canines highly enough! Thanks Annabelle, from myself and Shadow 🐶

Our 5-month old Australian labradoodle, Stella, has just finished her 10 day intensive course with Annabelle. Stella is an extremely sociable and loving dog, and so Annabelle's fun and play-based approach with her has been perfect. We opted for loose lead walking, recall and settling in public places. We had our handover session today and my partner and I were blown away with how far our gorgeous girl has come. We can see the change in her at home too, she has had the best time with Annabelle and is far more settled and engaged. Annabelle took the time to show us exactly how to continue with the training at home, and has kindly offered to be on-hand on WhatsApp for any outstanding questions. The foundations for a happy and confident dog have well and truly been laid. I approached Annabelle for help because I'd felt overwhelmed with the amount of training advice online, and was worried I wasn't doing the right thing. We have busy lives and we wanted the initial legwork to be done, and then to be taught how to continue it. I have had absolute confidence in Annabelle from start to finish and couldn't recommend her highly enough. Thanks Annabelle, we will miss you!

Annabelle has been working with my puppy since I brought her home. I’m thrilled with her progress from being very bouncy and chaotic into a lovely rounded dog through the puppy programme, weekly walk and train and monthly neutrality classes

Abbey and Rachael are both brilliant to work with. Myself and one of my dogs have attended neutrality classes and lure coursing sessions. Now I'm starting some 121 sessions with Abbey. They are both really encouraging and non-judgemental. Their advice has been practical and extends into my daily life with my dog - not just in the "classroom". The classes have really helped me and my dog - going from strength to strength. Thank you!

Bonnie, my spaniel attended her first lure course session on the weekend! She absolutely loved it! The session was well run, as expected, and it was great to see not just my dog but all the dogs have fun! With the breed my dog is it was a great outlet for her and she came away fulfilled from the experience! We both can’t wait to attend our next session.

A very fun time trying lure coursing for the first time! Was nice to see my dog gain more confidence throughout the runs, and I'm looking forward to bringing him back to see if we can coax some more speed out of him! Definitely recommend!

Had 121's with Abbey. My boy, now rarely pulls on lead, and I know what to do if he does. He's improved walking past other dogs. All reward based training. Really enjoy our sessions.

We can’t recommend Lisa enough! We took our puppy to her training and he learnt so much. Lisa is extremely knowledgeable, very patient and gets to know you and your dog very well. She offered help and support even outside of the lesson and always asked each week how our puppy was getting on. If you want to give your puppy the best start and want to learn why puppies behave in different ways then this is for you. Thanks Lisa!

I witnessed a troubling scene Wednesday around 11am in Warden villages during a heatwave, with temperatures already at 26°C and climbing. A dog walking van passed by, and I was alarmed to hear a woman shouting at the dogs confined in the back. In such high temperatures, this raises serious concerns about the dogs’ welfare—both physically and emotionally. Professional dog care should prioritise safety, comfort, and calm handling, especially in extreme weather. Shouting at animals in a confined space not only causes distress but also undermines the trust and care they deserve. I sincerely hope this provider reconsiders their approach and takes steps to ensure the dogs are treated with the compassion and professionalism they deserve.

The most amazing puppy and dog training classes I’ve ever been to. They were friendly and informative. I’ve been to other trainers over the years but these classes were by far the best. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Professional Dog Trainers in Worcester City Centre: Expert Canine Training Services

Finding qualified dog trainers in Worcester City Centre means connecting with professionals who understand the unique challenges of urban dog ownership in this historic cathedral city. From training puppies along the River Severn walkways to managing reactive dogs near the bustling High Street, our certified trainers deliver personalised obedience training, behaviour modification, and puppy socialisation programmes tailored to city centre living.

Serving areas including The Cross, Foregate Street, Cathedral Quarter, and Lowesmoor, we've successfully trained over 1,800 dogs across Worcester in the past eight years. Our expertise addresses the specific needs of city centre dog owners, from navigating busy Crowngate Shopping Centre to enjoying off-lead exercise at Gheluvelt Park and Fort Royal Park.

Why Choose Professional Dog Training in Worcester City Centre

Worcester City Centre presents distinct training requirements shaped by its blend of medieval streets, modern shopping areas, and riverside locations. The compact city centre means dogs regularly encounter crowds near Worcester Cathedral, navigate narrow pavements along Friar Street, and must remain calm amid the bustle of CrownGate and Cathedral Plaza. Proper lead manners and public behaviour become essential skills for harmonious urban living.

Our trainers specialise in desensitising dogs to city centre stimuli including church bells from the cathedral, market day crowds, traffic along The Cross, and the riverside activity near Worcester Bridge. With many residents living in converted flats above shops or in apartments near New Road, training for compact living spaces and shared building environments proves crucial for community harmony.

Dog Training Solutions for Worcester City Centre Residents

Puppy Foundation Training and Early Socialisation

Our puppy programmes focus on critical early development, introducing young dogs to Worcester's urban environment including pedestrianised areas, riverside paths, and historic architecture. Training covers essential commands, house training for flat living, and controlled socialisation in locations like Gheluvelt Park, building confidence around other dogs, cyclists along the Severn Way, and diverse city centre activity.

Urban Manners and Public Behaviour Training

We specialise in preparing dogs for Worcester's city centre lifestyle, including walking calmly through busy Broad Street, settling in dog-friendly cafés near the cathedral, and maintaining composure during farmers' markets. Dogs learn appropriate behaviour in pedestrian zones, navigating crowds during Worcester Festival, and remaining calm near Worcester Foregate Street Station, essential skills for integrated city living.
