Great place for the price my dog absolutely loved it their she was knackered after 20 mins of being their always water available for the dogs and bins for dog mess very clean and well kept place i will be booking on each week for my dog ideal place for dogs with no recall like mine to work on it and allow them time off the lead to stretch their legs without having to be constantly on the look out for other dogs to take your dogs attention away
Beautiful fields, the boundaries between the different fields are well maintained. A good touch to put a visual barrier between the friends too, kept my dogs focussed on their own business. One of the best enclosed fields I've been to. Clean and tidy areas.
Brilliant secure place to let your dogs enjoy themselves. Our Jack Russell, Walter loved it! He's not good around other dogs but loves chasing his ball so this is perfect for him. Easy to book and helpful instructions on the day by text. Plenty of parking too - will definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of meeting lee today and what a difference in just one session! I've taken my dog for a walk this evening using the tips and techniques he shown me and what a difference it has made. My dog is now listening to me even when dogs are present which i didnt think was possible. Highly recommend! Thank you!!
A very infomative session. Lots of lessons learned and appreciated. As Lee says its the humans that need training . We know that if we need any further support Lee is there to lead us in the right direction
I am delighted with the results I got from Lee helping me with Jax. I knew it was my fault I was making Jax reactive, however stopping was difficult, if your nervous your dog knows! The ability Lee has with dogs is second to none, his ability with people is fantastic! I have been on more of a journey than Jax if I am honest. I cannot recommed Lee enough I really can't, he made it seem like magic, I can't believe what we achieved. Thank you so much Lee from us all esp. Jax
Understood our needs immediately and observed our puppy’s behaviour excellently to give us a bespoke training plan. Couldn’t have been happier with the professionalism and comfort in knowing that the training we will now provide will help our puppy develop the right way.
He was very friendly and gave very good advice, advised we can get in touch anytime if we need any further help. Also sent more information to help via wasap.

Lisa was amazing tonight. She was so accommodating. She kept us up to date on our baby Rose. We couldn't have asked for more. Rose also loved spending time with Lisa. Thank you so much ❤️ x
Highly recommend, photo updates were sent to me during the pet sitting which was greatly appreciated and made me feel relieved that Tula was being well looked after and happy🐶
Lisa is lovely auntie for our 2 Jack Russell pups Chico & Charlie, We've met Lisa 3 times already and she is always caring our pups with sincere love❤️ Chico & Charlie love Lisa so much, they trained a lot by Lisa, she keeps sending photos how they are doing and it reduces our worries a lot about left them home themselves. We are very very lucky to know Lisa, I'm sure she is the best of best animal sitter in the world!🌎❤️ Highly recommend! Lots of Love, Chico, Charlie, MJ & Gary
Lisa is fab with our boy jaks who is a 1 year old Boxer, she really knows her stuff and has done a training package for him and us with lots of good advice Judy has also walked Jaks when Lisa was on holiday and she was fab too Jaks loves his walks with them
Lisa took care of our 20 year old cat for a period when a family member was hospitalised. Lisa and her staff member; Jade, went way above and beyond in their care, taking as much care as I'm sure they would for their own animal or we would have taken. Nothing was a problem, including buying special food in town for a finicky eater! They spent quality time interacting each day, not just "food and litter duty". When our relative died and it was necessary to send our cat to our home abroad, Lisa even came on the departure day, because we couldn't, to see her off and make sure everything went to plan. I can totally recommend Lisa to take care of any pet care needs and thank you Lisa, you're amazing!

Had my first session with Nathan yesterday. I have a two dog/pack problem - I’m not a total novice with canine behaviour but I’d had a few bad experiences since adding #2 to my household and needed to go back a few steps. This we did, and I was grateful it wasn’t too much to take in all at once-I’m not great with retaining ‘on the go instructions’. I have two exercises to do which are enough for me to get going with, and more importantly, not forget, the minute he’s left. Really enjoyed the session.
Ist session today with Sarah from South Shields Dog Trainer. Sarah was very patient and explained everything, she had Tilly doing stuff on our 1st session. We have some homework to be getting on with, Im really looking forward to our next session. Thanks Pauline
1 session in and already progress. Superb
Just had the first training session for my Labrador Retriever and I have been shown and I learnt the proper way to handle my dog when he sees another dog. It will definitely give me more confidence to walk my dog anytime of the day now from today’s session. Nathan was very clear with all his instructions and tips on how to handle my dog.
We had our first lesson today with Nathan I was so impressed and I learned a lot more than expected can’t praise him enough can’t wait for our next session highly recommend.

I could not recommend Adam and Valorant K9 enough. Having difficulties with a complex problem with my dog and having tried other trainers and behaviourists, I came to Valorant as a last chance saloon situation. Adam broke things down and addressed fundamentals leading to the main issues. The transformation has been amazing and although I appreciate I need to continue with the skills learned it is already like having a completely different dog. My boy is so much more relaxed, in all situations, and is now the dog that others are looking at wishing theirs were that well behaved. My only regret is not finding Valorant K9 and coming to Adam sooner. Definitely life changing. I have just started another training package, not because of any problems, just so I can help my boy reach his full potential. Thanks.
Absolutely unbelievable service Adam knows exactly what he is going on about and if you follow exactly what he teaches you then you will see the results will be using these services again cant recommend anyone else for this line of work Absolutely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cheers Adam 👏
Nova my German shepherd was a reactive dickhead. I'd used various online training methods to no avail. After 5 sessions with Adam, Nova was chilling out with 2 other dogs. Something that I'd never thought would be possible. I can't thank Adam enough for providing me with the tools to make dog walking enjoyable and make me less anxious when handling Nova. Would highly recommend Valorant K9 to anyone that's struggling with their dog.
I have owned dogs for over 40 years and had been lucky to never had a dog with extreme behaviours...until Daisy. I realised after two failed attempts at 'specialised' training that 'pet' dog trainers would not be able to fix the issue I had with my working line's prey drive. There was no dog treat or distraction game that would replace the kick Daisy got out of chasing horses. Adam took the time to train me to use the e-collar in a kind, clear and effective way, conditioning at a pace that suited the dog. He adapted the program as we went to accommodate her quirks and her reactions and responses. He was clear from the outset that it would take time to get right and I am delighted to say that has paid off. She has never had a negative experience with the collar and gets excited when I get ready to put it on her. Her recall is the best I have ever had in any of my dogs and she can now enjoy the off lead walks and freedom every dog deserves. I can now enjoy my walks again and am reassured that she (and the horses and riders) are safe as she continues to make good choices. I have no hesitation in recommending Valorant K9. I just wish I'd sought them out sooner!
What a fantastic experience, I rehomed a belgian malinois who became handler aggressive, reactive and often redirected . Decided to try Valorant and in the space of 3 months I now have a completely different dog. I'm able to walk off leash past other dogs and distractions without issue.
Finding qualified dog trainers in Seaburn means connecting with professionals who understand the unique coastal environment of this popular Sunderland seaside area. From training puppies to navigate the busy Seaburn promenade to teaching reliable recall on Seaburn Beach, our certified trainers deliver personalised obedience training, behaviour modification, and socialisation programmes designed for coastal community living.
Serving Seaburn, Whitburn, and the surrounding SR6 area, we've successfully trained over 850 dogs along the North East coast. Our expertise addresses the specific challenges of dog ownership in this vibrant seaside location, from managing beach behaviour near Seaburn Centre to enjoying walks through Backhouse Park.
Seaburn presents distinctive training opportunities shaped by its coastal location and strong community atmosphere. The extensive beach access provides excellent training environments, but also introduces unique challenges including wildlife distractions, tidal considerations, and seasonal tourist crowds that require dogs to maintain focus and obedience in stimulating surroundings.
Our trainers specialise in coastal-specific training including beach recall despite seagulls and other dogs, safe behaviour around rock pools and cliffs, and navigating the busy promenade during summer months. We understand local requirements for responsible beach dog ownership and train dogs to respond reliably whether walking past Seaburn Amusements or exploring the quieter stretches toward Whitburn Steel.
Our puppy programmes focus on early development while introducing young dogs to Seaburn's coastal environment. Training covers essential commands, lead walking along the promenade, and controlled beach exposure to build confidence around waves, sand, seaweed, and seabirds. Socialisation sessions help puppies develop into well-adjusted dogs comfortable in both quiet residential areas and busy beachfront settings.
Beach environments require exceptional recall reliability. We develop bombproof recall despite high-value distractions including wildlife, other dogs, and beach activities. Training at Seaburn Beach, Whitburn Coastal Park, and local green spaces ensures dogs respond immediately to commands even in the most stimulating coastal conditions, giving owners confidence for safe off-lead exercise.
Popular walking routes along the coast can trigger or worsen reactivity issues. Our programmes address leash reactivity, over-excitement around other dogs, and anxiety in busy environments using positive reinforcement techniques. We help dogs learn calm responses to triggers encountered on the promenade and in local parks.
Dog training in Seaburn typically ranges from £35-65 per hour for private sessions, with package deals offering better value at £240-450 for 6-8 week programmes. Group classes cost approximately £10-18 per session, while puppy courses average £120-220 for six weeks.
Yes, dogs can be trained for reliable off-lead beach behaviour. Training involves building strong recall, teaching boundaries around wildlife and other beachgoers, and ensuring dogs respond despite coastal distractions. Most dogs achieve reliable beach recall within 8-12 weeks of consistent training, though individual progress varies based on age, breed, and existing training foundation.
Yes, Seaburn Beach has seasonal restrictions with dogs typically banned from certain sections between May and September to protect summer visitors. Our training prepares dogs for the busy summer promenade walks and maximises their enjoyment during unrestricted months. We ensure owners understand local regulations and train dogs for appropriate behaviour in permitted areas year-round.
Professional dog training in Seaburn creates well-mannered companions perfectly suited to coastal living.
