Great service. Nothing is too much trouble. Having 2 elderly cats, both with health issues their welfare is my first priority. Ralf takes care of my cats when I go away and Sabine always texts with updates. Meaning I can fully relax as I know they are being cared for.

I’ve had a few sessions with Jayde and my miniature dachshund and she is a fabulous dog trainer! Her knowledge is amazing, she can answer pretty much anything when it comes to dogs behaviour and advise. She has really helped me with a few issues I’ve had with my dog and has taught me how to avoid the issues. Jayde is extremely professional but such a lovely, approachable lady :) 10/10 would recommend to anyone. We will be continuing our training journey with Jayde and hopefully start more classes in the future!

We sent our golden retriever, Ritchie, to The Wild Dog for a 3 week board and train. We sent him when he was about 1 years old and totally crazy. He had so much energy: was jumping on everyone, pulling hard on the lead etc. When we got him back 3 weeks later he was such a better mannered dog. He could control himself. I could enjoy taking him on walks. And best of all, he still had his lovely personality!

Our young Maltipoo was extremely nervous and was starting to become aggressive with us and visitors to our home. She was fearful of other dogs and stealing and resource guarding was starting to become a major problem. We think this was due to a negative boarding experience with a different company just after her first birthday. As a family with three young children this made us very nervous, and when she nipped one of the children we were very upset and worried about whether we would even be able to keep our dog as a family pet. We sent her on a four week residential training course with Wild Dog in the hope that something could be done… and she came back like a different dog. In the months that have passed, she has not displayed one sign of aggression, she is noticeably more relaxed and confident, and many people have commented on the change in her behaviour. She no longer steals or guards! Although she can sometimes still be cautious around bigger dogs, she likes to make friends and play with most dogs that she meets in the park - something we could never envisage before. She has since been back for a further boarding session when we went on holiday (where all of her previous training was reinforced!) and we are now planning to send her again in the summer when we are away. We can go on holiday relaxed, knowing that she is happy and in safe hands (and that she will return home behaving better than when she went)! We would not send her anywhere else. We couldn’t be happier with the service from Wild Dog. The fact that we have the telephone number saved in our phones as ‘the dog whisperers’ says it all…

We used Kevin for puppy training and now use him for dog sitting, dog walking, agility and trick club. Our dog adores him and we both really enjoy the classes.

Feaver Pitch is the best dog training I have ever attended. Kevin is a hugely knowledgeable trainer and only uses positive methods which means my dog loves coming to training! Not only did we complete the puppy and improver classes, we joined the extra services Kevin offers. We completed the trick club classes, beginners scent club and still attend weekly fun agility! Kevin is always on the end of the phone for advice and the dogs love him! Would highly recommend.

Tailored Dog Training Solutions for Wrexham Residents

Puppy Socialisation and Foundation Training

Our puppy programmes focus on the critical 8-16 week socialisation period, introducing young dogs to Wrexham's urban environment including traffic noise, crowds at Eagles Meadow, and the diverse surfaces found throughout the town centre. Training covers house training, crate training, and essential commands, with controlled sessions in Bellevue Park helping puppies develop confidence around other dogs and people.

Reactive Dog Training and Behaviour Modification

We address leash reactivity on busy pavements, barrier frustration, and fear-based responses using positive reinforcement techniques. Progressive training in controlled environments along quieter streets near Bradley Road and Rhosddu Road builds tolerance, replacing unwanted behaviours with calm focus even when passing other dogs on narrow town centre walkways.
