Fantastic trainer, patient and kind
We started taking our puppy 2 weeks ago. We are getting better results with cues, tips on behaviour, and advice on building the confidence of our pup and us. Tamara is amazing
Questions not applicable as it is a puppy training course. Fantastic information and any questions answered on a group or individual basis.
Fabulous dog trainer. Can perform miracles!
We took our black Labrador puppy to Propups puppy classes. We not only thoroughly enjoyed the classes but felt they gave us the tools we need to raise Rosie correctly. It was also great to be able to get advice and support from the trainers during the class on other issues we were experiencing. We will be signing up for graduate classes to continue the learning!

Amazing x
Brilliant, will hopefully join more classes in the future (:
I have a tendency to waffle so I’ll just say this…stop your search for a dog trainer because Kahla is the best! As long as you listen to what she tells you and apply it consistently, you will be surprised at what you and your dog can achieve. I saw an improvement with my dog’s behaviour after just one session and a couple of weeks of applying what we had learned. The courses are also fantastic as are Jenny & Gabby and I’ve always felt in safe hands with all of them. Can’t really say enough, thanks from me and my monkey Clarence :)
We had a really good 1st experience with Kahla regarding our 1 year old rescue Lurcher cross. Our dog is not aggressive but he gets overly excited. He becomes super focus and if other dogs is close he will whine, bark, bites his lead and do somersault. We have no luck getting his attention. Kahla gave us a really good exercise to do with him when going on walks. She was really knowledgeable and gave us tips specific to his breed. The session was so fun and she put everything into context for us.

Barney had a session with Edee to work on recall and it was amazing. Edee is a great trainer and gave us lots to work from I would 100% recommend CDTA and will definitely use Edee again.
Today we attended the Sit, Stay, Find it training, run by Edee. Such a great session, Huck loved it, and now we have new games and training to keep our border terrier busy! Thank you!
Alessia was fantastic. Took time to understand the requirements and very attentive with my pooch! I found the first session very insightful and extremely beneficial and will be booking more in the coming weeks. Overall fantastic experience and already seeing the benefits at home! Thanks Alessia
PENARTH DOCK railway station served the docks area of Penarth. The Taff Vale Railway built its line to Penarth in 1865, later extending it to Lavernock, Sully & Cadoxton. Penarth Dock & Harbour station opened in 1878. The name was changed to Penarth Dock in 1928. The station was staffed & had 2 platforms with substantial buildings, linked by a footbridge. Despite this, it was very quiet during the day, & received almost all its revenue from morning & evening rush hour trains. It was closed on Sundays. The station closed in January 1962. Most of the buildings are still present, & have been used by a range of businesses, including a shooting range, a garden centre, a 2nd-hand car lot and a marine chandlers. The line is still open as far as Penarth, though it has been single track since 1967.
Edee was awesome with our dog! She gave us some really helpful things to try moving forward with his training. I really recommend working with her!

First of all, what a great name! It was an absolute pleasure working with Nikki. She's kind, knowledgeable, and patient. She gave our family so many practical tips (like which type of lead to pick and why), behavioural queues that provided more insight into how our new little furry friend is thinking, alongside training (sit, recall, loose-lead walking, to name a few). We wanted to train our puppy when she's very young to set her up well. Nikki broke training into logical steps that we all (including my 11 year old) could do straight away. We're planning to work with Nikki on more advanced training in the future when our puppy is a bit older. Highly recommended. Thanks Nikki!
Nikki is very professional & our pup responded so well to her teachings. Highly recommend Llanishen Reservoir Dogs!
Having read a great deal about dog management I was despairing about my reactive dog. Nikki listened carefully and respectfully and gave me tailored advice which has transformed our dog walks and also my relationship with my dog. I can't thank her enough.
A great informative 8wk puppy training class my only concerns were that I should’ve booked my puppy in much earlier than I did
Brilliant training atmosphere for our puppy. Small, intimate group which meant our puppy’s confidence could grow and skills could develop. It was great to meet Nikki and trust was established instantly. Nikki’s knowledge is unrivalled and we will definitely be booking 1-2-1 training and group walks with Reservoir Dogs ☺️

A truly intuitive empathetic dog trainer. Jade has a genuine deep understanding of what makes dogs tick! Really helped our adopted greyhound to learn to love 'local walks' and life. Roo also had a very big spot for her. Also taught us so much in our local dog walking group!
I can’t fault Jade. She is incredibly experienced and has a wealth of knowledge - she is friendly, understanding and also exceptionally patient and calm. She really does know her stuff and you feel like you are in very capable hands. I would highly recommend her services - she will change your way of thinking and improve your relationship with your dog no end!
Brilliant trainer, highly recommend. The positive training methods have helped us tremendously.
Jade is always understanding and willing to give advice. All the suggestions and advice she has given me has been really helpful with my Lab cross. She explains not only what the dog is doing but why they are doing it, allowing you to better understand and help your dog. She can read a dog's body language like a book and genuinely cares about what's best for the dog and their relationship with their owner. I've learnt so much from Jade.
I've never done any proper training with any dogs I've owned and felt a bit unsure but from the initial inquiry I felt like Jade was amazing. The perfect blend of friendly and professional, you don't feel like someone is just reciting a manual, you really feel like someone is sharing the benefit of their experience. Since meeting Jade and being given some tasks, we have all been feeling positive and confident that this is a great step in the right direction to help all of us. I would not hesitate to recommend Jade to anyone looking for advice and support with their dog.

Roath's distinctive character as Cardiff's most cosmopolitan neighbourhood creates specific training needs. The area's dog-friendly culture, with numerous cafés welcoming pets along City Road and Mackintosh Place, requires dogs with excellent public manners and settling behaviour. Popular walking destinations including Roath Park, Waterloo Gardens, and the canal paths attract high numbers of dogs daily, making proper socialisation and recall essential.
Our trainers specialise in urban challenges including traffic desensitisation along busy thoroughfares, adapting to terraced housing with limited gardens, and managing the constant stimulation of street markets, students, and community events. Our puppy programmes build essential foundations during the critical 8-16 week period. Training covers house training for Victorian terraces, basic commands, and systematic exposure to Roath's environment including traffic noise, diverse crowds, and the popular lake area where ducks and geese provide excellent distraction training opportunities.
Roath's popular dog-walking routes often reveal reactivity issues. We address leash reactivity on narrow pavements, barrier frustration in bay-windowed properties, and fear responses using positive reinforcement. Progressive training along quieter streets before advancing to busier areas like Roath Park builds confidence systematically.
We specialise in training dogs for Roath's café culture and community lifestyle. Dogs learn to settle in dog-friendly establishments, walk calmly through street markets, and maintain composure in the area's numerous independent shops that welcome four-legged customers.
