Helen was incredible with our rescue collie Bliss. She was patient, knowledgeable and understanding. Her experience shone through and she was able to explain and show us things in a way we could understand. She is always at the end of a text message if we have any worries and that is a blessing when you’re trying to navigate dog behaviour. Bliss was always the priority in every session and you can tell how much she loves her animals. We cannot recommend Helen enough - we first reached out to the WP when our Lab was approx. 9 months old and got kicked out of his walking pack for some behaviour and training issues. Helen is incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell she is very passionate about her job. She identified the issue and her strategies made so much sense and most importantly, they worked! You have to be consistent with the strategies and training to continue seeing long-term results but it is so worth it! We have a very happy and healthy, 2 year old goofball. We have also been using the WP in recent weeks for Helen's dog-walking services and our dog is clearly comfortable and happy in her pack!
Helen listened to my worries and helped me to understand my dog’s responses to certain situations. She was patient and gave me various strategies which have made walking my dog less stressful and given me confidence in managing her.
Helen was very personable, approachable & took the time to work with us to address a couple of issues with our (quite a big 6mth old puppy)! Jumping up & running up to other dogs, not listening to recall. She spent time with our pup & myself together at our local field & home to give us some pointers & techniques to use. We have been working on this now for a few weeks & our pup has been brill. He's doing so well just from Helen helping us to change a few techniques.highly recommend her, she's very knowledgeable & passionate about her work with our babies 🐕 🐾
The Woof Pack took on my little rescue Jack Russel called Pea and sorted me out of a tough spot where I didn't have a walker. The staff at the business are absolutely great with Pea and understand her needs - she's sensitive as a result of a rough past. We have attended the puppy training group classes. As nervous first time dog owners Aleks has been amazing at teaching us some great foundation basics that have really helped us and Bella in the first few months. We would highly recommend her and look forward to attending further classes and sessions.
A fun course ( trick training ) which was entertaining and gave us lots of ideas to keep our border collie mentally stimulated.
We had Aleks come round our house for a pre-puppy consultation and it was the best idea ever. I feel so much more confident in what we need to do when our puppy arrives and Aleks was lovely and we agree with her training methods and suggestions, all reasonable and make total sense. Can't wait for pup to arrive now!

I joined Aleks puppy classes with my German Shepherd to get him used to other dogs, people and for him to learn behaviours so that he will be a happy and respectful adult. We both had a fantastic 6 weeks of learning. Aleks is excellent and has the experience and patience you require as a dog owner, whether it is your first dog or if you have had many dogs. She is always on hand to help if you have issues outside of the class. I strongly recommend her classes and I am so pleased that Aleks was recommend to me.

We asked Debbie for some help and advice with our 8-month old kittens that had not been socialised before we adopted them. Went through a few videos of our interactions with the mogs and it was fascinating to discuss their reactions at a much more detailed level than we were were seeing, and to be shown the difference between them tolerating contact (often!) and actually enjoying it. Came away armed with methods to understand them better and interact in the right way when the cats tell us they want the contact. Some great advice and great discussion. Debbie was recommended to us when we were looking for help with our fear reactive puppy, Schmidt. To say she’s gone above and beyond to help us, would be an understatement. Debbie has given us solid, practical advise which has helped Schmidt so much. She is, and continues to be, an incredible support; always going out of her way to help or check in. We cannot recommend her enough.
We were given Debbie’s contact details through our vet after one of our dogs developed anxiety related behaviour issues. Right from the outset, contact with Debbie and Positive Pet Behaviour was friendly, helpful and professional. She visited us at home for an assessment, asked lots of questions to understand what was going on and then took time to explain what may be causing this as well immediately starting some training! What I was even more impressed with is that although the referral was for our one anxious dog, she looked at the behaviours and relationships between all four of the dogs and gave advice on how to manage and improve things for all of them going forwards. She followed this up with a thorough written report and lots of useful training advice, leaflets, links and tips. And even set up a WhatsApp chat so we could contact her afterwards for any further bits of advice. We have seen a definite improvement in our anxious dog since her visit and all dogs have benefited from her training advice. I would thoroughly recommend.

I highly recommend seeking Debbie’s help if you have a reactive dog as her knowledge is incredible. The initial consultation was so informative and eye-opening and the follow support since has been fantastic.

Wow. I can't highly recommend Desire Dog Training enough. Benji, my huge Golden Retriever pulled me over and did extensive damage to both of my shoulders. I was too nervous to take him out in case he did it again so heard about Desire Dog Training and decided to give him a go. Wow, I've got a new dog back. I can take him for a walk on the lead and he doesn't pull. Most of all though I can walk him without a lead and he doesn't leave my side unless I command him to and he comes back when called. Absolutely amazing, can't recommend them enough 😊👍
Ed has been to stay with Marcus on numerous occasions and I would not hesitate to recommend the service he provides and the care he shows is like Ed is one of his own so pleased we found him. Ed always goes off very very happy and it is definitely like home from home and I feel like he goes on holiday as well. During his stay i am kept updated with pictures and Marcus is also a great source of information and help with advice especially with him being a dog trainer!
We booked 6 weeks training with Marcus after watching multiple videos of his training & results. As owners of a large dog (Belgium Malinois X GSD) we were extremely conscious that we had to nail down certain aspects of training to give us more confidence & make her life more enjoyable. The key aspects we asked Marcus to help us with were recall, heel training and barking at the TV. From initial meeting Marcus was very open & honest about how we were going to get these results. We have just finished our final session with Marcus today & i can honestly say its like we have a different dog. We can now walk her fully offlead with confidence as her recall is spot on, her heel training has improved 100% still some continual work for us to do but shes nearly there, and the barking at TV has got a lot better. Marcus is enthusiastic, honest & always there to answer any questions you may have. It has been a pleasure to work with him & we cant thank him enough for all the help he's given us over these sessions. Even Nalas enjoyed it, which she hasn't done previously with previous trainers. highly recommend him and his rates are brilliant.
We sent Hugo for 4 weeks board and training to Marcus because Hugo was suffering with separation anxiety and he had no recall, he was disobedient at times and would always pull on his lead on walks. Walking him was never something I looked forward to so we knew something had to be done. Fast forward to now and Hugo came back a well behaved, obedient dog with excellent recall and walks now are such a pleasure! We get comments off of people now about how well behaved he is and it’s all down to Marcus. We will continue the training and example he has set and we can’t recommend Marcus enough, the relationship he shares with the dogs is lovely and they are always treated like one of his own! The only tough thing about it was the goodbye! Please reach out to Desire Dog Training if you feel like your pooch is in need of a little more discipline! They will come back a better dog! 5* from us!
Marcus at Desire, had our 2 year old cocker spaniel, for a 4 week residential training course and a totally disobedient and wilful dog came back a different boy. We could never risk walking off lead before, but now his recall is fantastic and he walks to heel beautifully and is a real pleasure to take out and we receive loads of "What a well-behaved dog you have" comments, of course we burst with pride, even though we know it was all down to Marcus. We had a follow up meeting recently with Marcus and Rusty made a huge fuss of him, which indicates he also had a happy time with him. We were kept up to date on progress during the time our dog was there and we cannot recommend Desire Dog Training highly enough. Barbara & Chris

Brilliant training courses and Claire and her team are very supportive, patient and knowledgeable. Puppy, adolescent and hoppers classes are helping us navigate through the sometimes difficult stages of adolescence. I don’t know what we would have done without the support of animal magic. Highly recommend to anyone looking to gain a better understanding of their dog and acquire the skills needed to support and train their puppy/dog!
Excellent classes, very informative & helpful teaching, my dogs has come on in leaps & bounds with puppy classes & further adolescent classes. Then some fun work with hoopers & scent work. There is something for everyone.

We have been training both of our dogs with Claire, she has been amazing helping us every step of the way. She looks at each dog individually and gives the best advice to solve whatever the issue might be. Both of our dogs passed all the KCGC archiving gold standard as well as the jubilee level in APDT, we couldn’t have done it without her help, patients and professional knowledge.
