We've learnt so much about dog training through HoundPlus and would highly recommend using them. The team really know what they are talking about! We especially love the Sunday social walks, Raffy has a great time playing with the other dogs and we feel safe knowing we are around like-minded people that want to train their dogs in the same way.
Nick is an awesome trainer, very realistic, honest and super patient in explaining complex things in easy to understand ways. Great at adapting to different types of dogs and owners, too. Would recommend to anyone!
We've learnt so much from Nick and the rest of the trainers at HoundPlus. Having the option to chose the type of training we like or mix it up with the different types of classes available means we get to try new things and constantly learn new skills. Our confidence continues to increase when training with our dog and when out and about thanks to the support we have recieved both in and out of class. The trainers all clearly love and understand dogs and make sure you understand why and how to train. Most importantly our dog adores Nick and Livvy and the other trainers, he gets very excited when we go to classes and he just keeps impressing us in how well he does. Finally the app is so easy to use and book classes which just makes planning so easy. Im really glad we chose HoundPlus when we got our puppy and a year later we are still loving attending training each week.
Nick and the gang are the best! Definitely would recommend for anyone who is new with dog owning or if you just want to learn more! We love their chilled out approach and crazy amounts of knowledge! Our little boy, Donnie, has built amazing confidence and Nick helped us to further our bond. We will be using all the guys at HoundPlus indefinitely ♥️

We had a great experience with Iwona. Her holistic and thoughtful approach really made a difference to my dog’s behaviour and confidence. Iwona took time to understand my dog’s needs and behaviour patterns to translate them into a structured training plan. My dog is young, excitable and full of energy, but she knew exactly how to work with that - using calm, clear guidance and positive methods. The training made a real difference to his engagement with me and his skills have grown noticeably over a relatively short time. Thoroughly recommended!
We cannot recommend this amazing dog trainer in Bristol highly enough. Our adolescent Labrador was boisterous, excitable, and increasingly difficult to manage. Walks were stressful, guests were greeted with chaos, and daily life was becoming a challenge. We had already tried working with another trainer, but the results were limited and inconsistent. Then we found Iwona and everything changed. From the first consultation, her depth of knowledge, professionalism, and genuine dedication to helping both dogs and owners was clear. She created a personalised training plan tailored to our dog’s needs, energy levels, and temperament. Each training session was engaging, fun, and incredibly productive, not just for our Labrador, but for us as owners too. What truly sets her apart is the consistent support she provides between sessions. The weekly voice check-ins were a lifeline, offering encouragement, troubleshooting advice, and reassurance. No question ever felt too small, and her ability to explain behaviour in a way we could easily understand made such a difference. The progress in our dog’s behaviour has gone far beyond our expectations. He’s more focused, calmer, and finally understands what’s being asked of him. Walks are now enjoyable, visitors are welcomed calmly, and our bond with him is stronger than ever. We’re so grateful to have found someone who is not only a skilled professional but also incredibly passionate and supportive. Without a doubt, she is the best trainer we’ve ever worked with. We're lucky to have her!
Iwona was so great with our high energy puppy, she's given us the tools to help with training and we're seeing such a difference! Can't recommend highly enough.
Iwona is an amazing dog trainer. She helped us to learn how to engage better and build better habits with our rescue dog Marshall. She makes training sessions fun and Marshall absolutely adores her. We learned how to encourage our dog to focus on us around distractions using positive reinforcement. She regularly checked in with us between sessions and thought us a lot about dog behaviour. Marshall's training is still a work in progress but he is improving continuously since we have started to train with Iwona.
Iwona is an excellent trainer. We had a 1:1 package and are really happy with the result. We got great advice and practical work with our puppy, who is well on the way to becoming a model citizen dog!

We've been making great progress working with Debs. Ben Es reactivity is slowly but surely improving and he is much calmer overall. Debs explains things really clearly and is very patient. We've done 1:1s and group classes and I would recommend both!
We have been going to puppy classes then Hoopers for the last few years. Deb is welcoming, friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and has been so good for my very nervous cocker spaniel with her calm and caring approach. We have learnt so much, Can't recommend her enough.
Debs is a knowledgeable and patient trainer - of humans and animals! Her vast knowledge and quirky sense of humour enabled us to build our confidence with Alfie, our Cocker Spaniel. Debs helped us from the very beginning when Alfie was 10 weeks old and over a year later we’re still enjoying our dog classes and seeing results every week. Debs is really skilled in explaining behaviour from a dog’s perspective so when Alfie starts to develop annoying habits, she explains why that is happening from the dog’s perspective and how we to train the behaviour we want instead. Thoroughly and wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful person
Monty loves the Hoopers class and Deb. He is a working labrador and this shows as he finds it fun to race through Hoops and around Barrels on direction from us, he has to use his brain to work out what we need him to do. This class has really helped him to stay more focussed on us when he is out walking which is of great benefit and gives us more control. Keep up the good work Deb.

I didn’t realise how bad Jack had become until we had a couple of occasions where he totally lost it towards being near other dogs. I became very worried about meeting other dogs with him and felt I couldn’t ’snap him out of it’. Wendy was so helpful in explaining what Jack was thinking and feeling and helped to explain that Jack was confused about who the leader was (he had sadly lost both his previous owners to cancer). As soon as we worked towards these leadership skills he became calmer in the home and on walks. My confidence has increased massively and I will continue the skills to aim to take him anywhere and everywhere again. Thank you so much Wendy.
We contacted Wendy at jump4joy as our labradoodle is reactive to other dogs and people . As owners we had also lost confidence and we were not enjoying our walks. Over our 3 121 sessions with Wendy we got a much better understanding of Deedee’s behaviour and tasks to give us the tools to change this . Our confidence has grown and Deedee is definitely calmer . I am starting to like walking again 😁
We are really grateful for the time Wendy spent with us, we had big issues with random bouts of aggression and bite incidents with our mini sausage which were often out of the blue and unexpected. Wendy helped us diagnose that the issue was a combination of pain and pack hierarchy confusion, mostly the latter and the training techniques we learned from Wendy have helped hugely to address that issue. Our house is now a much more peaceful place and our pup seems much much happier. I’m not sure we’d be where we are now without Wendy’s help. Thank you :)
I have just completed 3 sessions with Wendy regarding my dog’s aggression to moving traffic. I found Wendy had a real understanding of dogs and my problem, and I am now walking along main roads with a dog that is focusing on me and not the traffic. I would encourage anyone having dog behavioural issues to contact Wendy. Her sessions were amazing.
Wendy has helped massively with our puppies development and she has a fantastic knowledge of the Science and psychology relating to dog behaviour. Would highly recommend her services

We have been meaning to leave this review for some time now, but life has got in the way (sorry Lynn and Team). It is also worth mentioning that I only ever leave reviews if I feel really strongly about providing feedback, either positive or negative. THIS IS MOST CERTAINLY A POSSITIVE ONE! When we came to the realisation that due to changing circumstances, we needed to get a dog walker in for our treasured Golden Doodle Floki, I can't say I was too happy about the idea of strangers in our home and trusting others with his care. From the onset, when Lynn came to our home to introduce herself and her business, we instantly felt more comfortable about the prospect. Not only was it clear that she deeply and personally, loved our fury friends, but also that she took this responsibility very seriously and really engaged with her clients to find out what was important to them and their dogs. Floki was picked up by Lynn and her team twice a week for the shorter training trek (due to his young age), because we wanted him to be left alone for as short a period as possible, Lynn suggested picking him up first and dropping him off last so that he could chill with his new pals for as long as possible. For a period of time when Lynn injured herself, her right hand lady Emily used to come and pick him up and drop him off. I remember once watching back at the Pup-Cam footage and seeing her giving him the sweetest goodbye and cuddle before she left him. It was only for around 6 months that we needed support, but during this time Floki build an unbreakable bond with the Wags and Woofs team. To this day (almost 2 years later) when we bump into Lynn and Emily in the park, Floki goes really funny and does some sort of a low-down crawl around them with uncontrollable happiness. I don't think he really does that with anyone else and I think it is a reflection of the love and respect that they build with their doggy clients. Another thing that we really valued was, come first walk they had set up a dedicated WatsApp group so they could provide us with updates on all his antics and we would know he was having a good time... and what fun they had! Lynn and her team used to celebrate dogs birthday with fun activities and even threw Christmas party where the team and the dogs got dressed up, tell you what we had some funny pictures that day for sure. Lynn is also extremely knowledgeable on our canine friends and was always happy to offer friendly advise when we needed it. Thank you so much for everything Lynn and team
I have had the pleasure of being part of the Waggs n Woofs "family" for nearly a year now. Being a first time dog owner has been lovely..... but there have been anxieties like "who will look after my puppy when I'm out and about". That has been solved by Waggs n Woofs. I now wave Nelly off knowing that she will meet her doggy friends and caring family. I have regular pictures through the day of her events - which include a secure lead walk, a sniffing treat trail and the best so far has been the doggy agility/assault course. Nelly arrives home clean and tidy and ready for a nap. I know she is safe and incredibly well looked after. Waggs n Woofs love my puppy - and I love them. xx
Just want to say a big 'THANK YOU' to Lynn, Emily & Jackie - they are great. My dog loves them all and really looks forwards to them coming to pick her up for her weekly social! (although the blackberry trick is making our walks much longer!!!)
I have never met a more professional team in my life than that of Lynn and Emily who chaperoned Milo for our wedding. Lynn’s the most amazing, dog-mad lady I have ever met and I knew after five minutes on the phone with her that we had made the right choice for who should help make our dog part of our big day. From start to finish, Lynn was amazing! Not only meeting our dog and going through every fine detail to make the day was perfect, but also being someone I could call on for help and advice when wedding planning as her knowledge is fantastic. Milo, our dog, instantly hit it off with Lynn and we knew he would be in good hands with her all day. As our wedding was a surprise, Lynn was fabulous at keeping the secret and making up all the lies to my family members when collecting Milo on the morning of the wedding. On the day, I didn’t have a single worry about our dog and when I did see him, he was always wagging his tail and enjoying the company. We knew we wanted our dog at our wedding and Waggs ’n’ Woofs was the second thing we booked after the venue to ensure we had the best people looking after our dog. We are so glad we booked them as it just made the day more perfect. Do not hesitate if you want your pooch with you on your special day - you won’t regret it!
What an amazing service!!! Lynn and her team are so enthusiastic about our dogs. They are treated as if they were their own. Lots of positive praise and interaction. Each walk is enriching and clearly thoroughly planned. I love the updates we receive. Their humour is great and puts a smile on my face. My dog is well looked after, and exercised correctly. I’m so relieved and glad I came across this service. No longer do I have to worry about the level of care or exercise he receives while I’m at work. I couldn’t recommend Lynn or her team more.
