The dogs and I absolutely love coming for our lessons. They’re always so much fun and tailored to suit your dog and how they learn best. We always get so much out of our lessons, and look forward to the next one as soon as we leave
Ollie has been absolutely fantastic with my dog who is a thug. Ollie has seen the best in Pablo and takes a cool, calm no drama attitude towards Pablo’s excessive barking and lunging, as an owner this eases the embarrassment and anxiety .. He has helped teach a technique to stop Pablo’s excessive barking proving to be successful out and about.. Myself and Pablo are growing a stronger bond by learning agility and having heaps of fun with it! We are so glad we found Insight dogs

Beccy has an intuitive way of understanding dog behaviour that is rare and valuable. She guided me and my Romanian rescue dog, Peggy, through a difficult patch by teaching me commands and how to read Peggy's signals. Calm and patient, she is a true friend to any dog and a valuable guide to their owner. Thoroughly recommended.
Dobby enjoys Becky's gentle approach and greets her enthusiastically. Her walks have rubbed off in terms of him not pulling on the lead when he is with us. Becky is very knowledgeable about dogs and has been a useful source of advice. Dobby gives Becky the highest review possible as do we x
Beccy is very professional, attentive and worked wonders with us as a family to increase confidence with our vulnerable rescue.
I have known Beccy for a long time as her vet. She is a gentle, understanding, committed dog owner. When I needed someone to walk my own dogs I knew for certain that I wanted it to be Beccy. She walked my dogs for 6 years and for all of that time I felt happy and relaxed that I could trust her to look after them. They loved her and still go crazy when they see her. Thanks Beccy 😊
Beccy walks our dog Lyla 3 days a week and has done for over 7 years, we find her to be extremely responsive to Lylas needs including providing successful dietary suggestions. Beccy is very professional and trustworthy and highly recommend.

Excellent with my dogs! They get so excited when they hear the car pull up 🥰 Very reliable and friendly 👍 Highly recommended from me and the doggies 🐕 🐕
Stacey is so great with Whiskey who absolutely loves going on his walks with her. He gets so much out of it and Stacey always communicates so well with us including pictures and videos of him having the best time!
Very friendly service, and our dog appears to love it, in the way he greets the walker when picking him up from the house, and how he looks in the videos that are sent after each walk.
Amazing personal service from Stacey... fun, energetic and varied walks. My dog loves her .
Stacey is great with our dog, happy to be flexible and good value for money. Would definitely recommend her!

Louise has been walking and visiting Juno since we first got her as a puppy almost 3 years ago. Since the beginning she has been so friendly and built a true bond with Juno so much so that when we say 'Louise' Juno's tail starts wagging and she goes to the door. She has socialised Juno with other dogs as we rarely get that opportunity which has really helped to make Juno the sociable and friendly dog she is now. I couldn't recommend Louise enough she truly is AMAZING! She always goes the extra mile and it's clear she loves the animals she works with. Plus the pictures on Instagram every time she walks Juno are the highlight of my family's day :)
I would thoroughly recommend Louise at Hanley Swan Paws for anyone in need of dog walking services. Louise is reliable, friendly and has a great passion for animals. Peanut loves going on walks with her and always comes back tired and happy. Louise goes the extra mile to make sure our pup is well taken care of, and provides updates and photos. It is a pleasure to work with her and we couldn't be happier with the care she has given Peanut. If you are looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker, Hanley Swan Paws is the way to go!
Louise walks our Jack Russell, Maisie, three times a week. Louise quickly established a warm and trusting relationship with Maisie, who is always pleased to see her. Maisie responds well to Louise and enjoys her walks in a variety of different locations. Louise is a trustworthy, caring, experienced and professional dogwalker and we recommend her unreservedly. Dave and Sue Alderson
Louise has walked my two dogs twice a week for nearly two years now and has been excellent, very reliable and the dogs have a great time and enjoy the company of Louise and the other dogs. Would 100% recommend.
Louise is brilliant with my dog Babe and I couldn’t ask for anyone better to look after her. She’s reliable and friendly and my Babe loves her to bits! ❤️

Highly recommend Dave. Been using him for over 6 months. Reliable, professional & friendly. My dog loves going for walks with him.
Dave has been fantastic with our Golden retriever Teddy. He can be a reluctant walker but Dave has renewed his love of walks and he really enjoys the interaction he gets. I can not recommend him highly enough.
Brilliant service, full of information and experience. Highly recommend!
Exceptional service, was incredibly patient with my dog highly recommend
Finding qualified dog trainers in Malvern means connecting with professionals who understand the unique character of this historic spa town nestled beneath the stunning Malvern Hills. From training energetic puppies for walks along the Worcestershire Beacon to managing reactive dogs in Priory Park, our certified trainers deliver personalised obedience training, behaviour modification, and puppy socialisation programmes designed for both town and countryside living.
Serving Malvern Link, Great Malvern, Malvern Wells, and West Malvern, we've successfully trained over 1,800 dogs across the area in the past eight years. Our expertise addresses the specific needs of Malvern dog owners, from navigating busy Church Street to enjoying off-lead adventures on the hills and commons that define this beautiful location.
Malvern presents distinctive training requirements shaped by its blend of Victorian townscape and dramatic hillside terrain. The iconic Malvern Hills offer exceptional walking opportunities but demand reliable recall and excellent lead manners on steep paths shared with livestock, hikers, and cyclists. Popular areas like British Camp and the reservoir walks attract numerous dogs, making proper socialisation and greeting behaviour essential for peaceful countryside enjoyment.
Our trainers specialise in preparing dogs for Malvern's unique environment, including desensitisation to livestock encounters common on the hills, building stamina for steep terrain, and developing calm behaviour in the town's cafés and independent shops along Belle Vue Terrace and Abbey Road. We understand local considerations including grazing sheep on the commons, busy periods during the Malvern Walking Festival, and the town's friendly dog-welcoming culture that encourages well-mannered canine companions throughout the community.
Our puppy programmes establish crucial foundations during the critical 8-16 week period, introducing young dogs to Malvern's varied environment including town traffic, hillside terrain, livestock smells, and the diverse activities in Victoria Park and Priory Park. Training covers essential commands, house training, and controlled socialisation that prevents future behavioural issues while building confident, adaptable dogs ready for Malvern life.
For Malvern's hill-walking lifestyle, reliable recall is essential. We develop bombproof off-lead control despite distractions including sheep, deer, other dogs, and wildlife encountered on the Malvern Hills, Castlemorton Common, and woodland paths. Advanced training ensures your dog responds immediately even on steep terrain or amid the activity at popular spots like the Worcestershire Beacon summit.
Our behaviour modification programmes address leash reactivity, fear-based responses, and aggression using positive reinforcement methods. Training in real-world environments like the busy paths through Poolbrook and quieter routes around Malvern Wells helps dogs learn calm responses to triggers, building tolerance and confidence for stress-free walks throughout town and countryside.
Dog training in Malvern typically costs £45-70 per hour for private sessions, with 6-8 week packages ranging from £300-500. Group classes cost £15-25 per session, while puppy courses average £180-300. Prices reflect the local area's cost of living and trainer qualifications.
Yes, dogs can be trained for safe hill walking with reliable recall around livestock and wildlife. Training typically requires 6-12 sessions building progressive distraction work. We use locations like North Hill and the Gullet to develop real-world reliability in challenging terrain with sheep and deer present.
Begin training immediately when bringing your puppy home around 8 weeks old. Early exposure to Malvern's hills, livestock, and town environments during the critical 8-16 week socialisation period creates confident, well-adjusted dogs. However, dogs of any age benefit from professional training.
Professional dog training in Malvern creates confident companions ready to enjoy everything this special town offers, from hillside adventures to community life. Our proven methods combine expert techniques with intimate local knowledge, ensuring your dog thrives in Malvern's distinctive environment.
