Yasmin has been looking after our dog, Hamish since he was just puppy (about 4 years now). She constantly goes above and beyond, helping whenever needed and we’re incredibly lucky to have her as his walker. On weekdays, Hamish will typically sit on the steps waiting for Yasmin to arrive, he absolutely adores her.
Having a dog Walker you need to fully trust the person looking after your furry baby. Yasmin is incredible with my wee man! When my wife and I had our twins she went the extra mile to come and look after our dog. She is brilliant and can’t recommend her enough
I cannot recommend Yasmin enough! We have a malamute that certainly keeps us on our toes and Yasmin is just fab with him! She manages to have him off lead no bother which with us he isn’t so good with his recall! When he sees her he is just the happiest dog ever and when she leaves he watches out the window for her! She is brilliant at keeping us updated too with photos each walk, he always has the biggest smile! She also has there best interests at heart such as being sensible in the heat, not walking them but offering toilet breaks and things instead! Highly recommend!
Easily managed 2 Collie pups and a stubborn Springer, has a great manner with dogs. The dogs loved her, and she never let us down. Your pets will be in great hands, cannot recommend her services enough, well worth using.

Kay is absolutely amazing at what she does. Great advice and the patients of a saint! Can't thank her enough 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
My dog Saskia was a street dog from Romania. As such she had had several years of being autonomous - but also suffering violence at the hands of humans. Her pack held Bucharest city dump as their area to pick for food - which as you can imagine probably meant that they fought off other street dogs. Since Sassy first arrived here I have become more and more disabled - so I think she thought she needed to become pack leader again. I asked Kay to come and work with her because I really needed her to wind her neck in and be more obedient! Kay came and worked with me, Sassy and one of my carers. Kay recommended that I should work with Sas on a regular basis to get her to become more obedient - however I then had a really bad fall and I haven't been able to work with her anywhere near as much as I would have wanted to. Despite that Saskia is now significantly more obedient but not only that she actually seems much happier and more affectionite. It's like a pressure has been taken off her shoulders. I cannot recommend Kay highly enough. She really knows what she is doing.
Kay was everything we were looking for when we decided to get some help with our greyhound. She was very relaxed and approachable and our dog took to her straight away. She has some good training techniques and is very knowledgeable about what she teaches. We would absolutely recommend her to other who are looking for help with their dog.
I can’t say enough good things about Kay. We have two very reactive Yorkies who react to noises, are a challenge on walks and around other dogs. Kay has been incredibly patient and knowledgeable, tailoring the training to fit each of our dogs' specific needs. There is still a lot of work we need to do as their behaviour is very ingrained, but Kay has provided us with lots of advice, useful tips and resources to support the training, and we are already starting to see a difference. If you’re looking for a professional, compassionate, calm and effective dog trainer who really does have your dog's best interest at heart, we highly recommend Kay.
I couldn't recommend Kay enough. She is very calm, listens to your issues and gives excellent support/guidance. She provided practical demonstrations to show what to do which were very helpful. I had several issues with my puppy and Kay was able to help with these. She spent a lot of time with me and did not rush the session. Overall excellent service.

Jordan from Brainwork for Dogs is amazing. I think I would have really struggled without her guidance and both me and my giant dufus, Foley, cannot thank her enough. She breaks things down and makes everything really easy to understand and gives you just solid, practical advice that makes sense for your dog specifically - there's never been a 'one size fits all' approach and I love that about the way we train. I initially booked onto a 6 month 1-2-1 block, which I started with Foley as soon as possible, and we loved it so much we now do NOCA (a dog sport Jordan created herself) and scent work with other clients from Brainwork for Dogs every week. The atmosphere is fantastic and all the dogs are thriving, which really is a testament to the effort Jordan puts in to help.
Jordan from Brainwork for Dogs is amazing. She covers everything from behavioural problems to improving dog owners handling and their relationship with their dogs through play. Jordan has helped me so much with my dog's aggression and obedience. Her scentwork classes are always welcoming and fun. By far the best thing Jordan offers is NOCA - a pet dog sport she created to push pet owners to do better by their dogs.

Just want to say Craig is a real asset to have when you have a dog and especially when you’re a first time owner. He teaches you without being judgemental and our dog Harris absolutely loves him. We’ve used so much of what Craig has taught us and we’ve been seeing a real difference in our dog. Highly recommend Craig.
Paid £325.00 for 4 one to one sessions with my dog and 6 Group sessions, I was Only able to attend 1 , one to one session with my dog because of family circumstances, text the owner about a refund and never got a reply. The owner replies on here below but for two days now I have been texting him with my details, dogs name etc still no reply and he says he doesn't know If I was signed up, believe me I was signed up the day my £325.00 hit his bank account.
Paid for 10 lessons only got 7 without any explanation I tried on numerous occasions to contact him no reply very disappointed also I did cancel the lesson in plenty time and never received any communication from you I received email to rebook and honour the other 3 lessons just couple days ago I emailed you yet no reply why ?
Had dogs all my days and have always trained them myself. Have 2 spaniels, the 2nd of which struggles with recall, eventually to the point I reached out to Craig for some one-to-one training. We met in Dawson Park and within minutes he identified the issues and started showing me different techniques that I’d not used before, some really obvious things and some not so obvious. Within 2 lessons and 15 minutes a day practice, my dog’s recall has improved beyond my expectations and I am now working with Craig on some other commands, cannot recommend enough, Craig really knows his dogs and how to motivate them (and you) to get the very best from the dog.
Finding a qualified dog trainer in Carnoustie means connecting with professionals who understand the unique needs of this coastal Angus town where beach walks meet historic golf links and tight-knit communities. From training puppies along the expansive Carnoustie Beach to managing reactive dogs near Barry Mill and the Championship Golf Course, our certified trainer delivers personalised obedience training, behaviour modification, and puppy socialisation programmes tailored to local conditions.
Serving Carnoustie town centre, Panbride, East Haven, and surrounding areas including postcodes DD7 6 and DD7 7, we've successfully trained over 450 dogs across the region in recent years. Our expertise addresses the challenges of coastal dog ownership, from managing recall around wildlife at Barry Buddon to navigating busy periods along the promenade and Victoria Park.
Carnoustie presents specific training requirements shaped by its coastal location, strong winds, and active community lifestyle. The town's stunning beach provides excellent exercise opportunities but demands solid recall training, particularly during seabird nesting seasons and when other dogs are present. Many residents enjoy the coastal path walks to East Haven and West Haven, requiring dogs with reliable lead manners and the ability to handle sudden weather changes characteristic of the Angus coastline.
Our trainer specialises in addressing Carnoustie-specific challenges including desensitising dogs to strong coastal winds, exposure to golf course activity and visiting golfers during championship events, and building confidence around the busy Dundee Road and town centre areas. We understand local regulations for beach access and work within seasonal restrictions to ensure your dog becomes a responsible community member.
Our puppy programmes build essential foundations during the critical 8-16 week period, introducing young dogs to Carnoustie's coastal environment including beach surfaces, seaweed smells, wave sounds, and the variety of people and dogs encountered along popular walking routes. Training covers house training, basic commands, and controlled socialisation sessions at locations like Victoria Park, preparing confident puppies ready for life in this active seaside community.
Carnoustie's expansive beach and open spaces require exceptional recall reliability. We develop off-lead control despite distractions including seabirds, other dogs, interesting smells, and beachcombers. Training ensures your dog responds immediately whether on the quiet stretches towards Barry or the busier sections near the town centre, providing the freedom to enjoy Carnoustie's coastal lifestyle safely and responsibly.
Our behaviour modification programmes address reactivity issues that can develop or worsen in Carnoustie's popular dog-walking areas. Using positive reinforcement techniques, we help dogs learn calm responses to triggers encountered along busy promenade sections and in town, building confidence gradually and creating peaceful walks for both dogs and owners throughout the community.
Dog training in Carnoustie typically costs £35-60 per hour for private sessions, with package deals offering better value at £200-400 for 6-8 week programmes. Group classes generally range from £10-18 per session. Mobile services throughout Carnoustie and surrounding villages mean convenient training at locations including your home, the beach, or local parks without additional travel charges.
Absolutely. Beach training focuses on reliable recall, ignoring wildlife and other dogs, responding to commands despite distractions, and understanding boundaries. Most dogs achieve safe beach access within 8-12 weeks of consistent training. We work within seasonal restrictions and ensure dogs understand appropriate behaviour around seabirds, particularly during breeding seasons when certain beach sections have access limitations.
Begin training immediately when bringing your puppy home around 8 weeks old. Early exposure to Carnoustie's coastal environment during the 8-16 week socialisation window proves crucial for developing confident dogs comfortable with wind, beach conditions, and community life. However, dogs of all ages benefit from training, with adult and rescue dogs learning new behaviours regardless of their history or previous experiences.
Professional dog training in Carnoustie creates well-adjusted companions perfectly suited to this coastal community's active lifestyle. Our proven methods combine expert techniques with local knowledge, ensuring your dog thrives whether walking the championship links, exploring the beach, or enjoying quieter moments in town. Contact us today to schedule your consultation and start your journey toward a perfectly trained Carnoustie dog who's a valued member of your family and the local community.
