We've learnt so much about dog training through HoundPlus and would highly recommend using them. The team really know what they are talking about! We especially love the Sunday social walks, Raffy has a great time playing with the other dogs and we feel safe knowing we are around like-minded people that want to train their dogs in the same way.
Nick is an awesome trainer, very realistic, honest and super patient in explaining complex things in easy to understand ways. Great at adapting to different types of dogs and owners, too. Would recommend to anyone!
We've learnt so much from Nick and the rest of the trainers at HoundPlus. Having the option to chose the type of training we like or mix it up with the different types of classes available means we get to try new things and constantly learn new skills. Our confidence continues to increase when training with our dog and when out and about thanks to the support we have recieved both in and out of class. The trainers all clearly love and understand dogs and make sure you understand why and how to train. Most importantly our dog adores Nick and Livvy and the other trainers, he gets very excited when we go to classes and he just keeps impressing us in how well he does. Finally the app is so easy to use and book classes which just makes planning so easy. Im really glad we chose HoundPlus when we got our puppy and a year later we are still loving attending training each week.
Nick and the gang are the best! Definitely would recommend for anyone who is new with dog owning or if you just want to learn more! We love their chilled out approach and crazy amounts of knowledge! Our little boy, Donnie, has built amazing confidence and Nick helped us to further our bond. We will be using all the guys at HoundPlus indefinitely ♥️

We've been making great progress working with Debs. Ben Es reactivity is slowly but surely improving and he is much calmer overall. Debs explains things really clearly and is very patient. We've done 1:1s and group classes and I would recommend both!
We have been going to puppy classes then Hoopers for the last few years. Deb is welcoming, friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and has been so good for my very nervous cocker spaniel with her calm and caring approach. We have learnt so much, Can't recommend her enough.
Debs is a knowledgeable and patient trainer - of humans and animals! Her vast knowledge and quirky sense of humour enabled us to build our confidence with Alfie, our Cocker Spaniel. Debs helped us from the very beginning when Alfie was 10 weeks old and over a year later we’re still enjoying our dog classes and seeing results every week. Debs is really skilled in explaining behaviour from a dog’s perspective so when Alfie starts to develop annoying habits, she explains why that is happening from the dog’s perspective and how we to train the behaviour we want instead. Thoroughly and wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful person
Monty loves the Hoopers class and Deb. He is a working labrador and this shows as he finds it fun to race through Hoops and around Barrels on direction from us, he has to use his brain to work out what we need him to do. This class has really helped him to stay more focussed on us when he is out walking which is of great benefit and gives us more control. Keep up the good work Deb.

We did Lucy's puppy course this year. It was fun and very helpful. Lucy is a fountain of knowledge and very generous to share it. She is friendly and approachable. The setting is lovely and all the dogs in our group got a graduation certificate at the end. My puppy is growing into a happy dog and she is going on the adolescence course next. Thoroughly recommended.
Absolutely brilliant. Tried numerous dog trainers via email and facebook. Either they don't get back to you or they are very expensive. Two good friends recommended Lucy to me so I dropped her an email. She was very quick with her response in relation to the problems I outlined about our almost 4 year old Black Labrador (Albie) as we were struggling with his recall as he likes to run towards other dogs for a sniff when he's off the lead. Which is both annoying and embarrassing and rightly so not always appreciated by the other dog owners. Lucy is obviously very popular as the earliest we could schedule a 1:1 was November. I needed a quicker solution as dog walks with Albie were not as enjoyable as they used to be. Lucy suggested her online course (Bullet Proof Recall). For £20 I was sent a link to an online tuition video which had various stages to improve recall. I rigidly stuck to this and within a few weeks Albie had completed the different stages within the video. As with all things, the real proof is when we have the added distractions of other dogs when he is either on or off the lead. He is definitely improved at this, but it's still work in progress. Nothing is too much trouble for Lucy. I have bombarded her with videos of Albies training sessions and she is always on hand to offer constructive feedback and and praise as required. Walks with Albie are much more enjoyable and we both love the training. It's given us both a new focus on our walks. My friend who hadn't seen Albie for a month commented on his improvement when went for a walk with his golden retriever. I called Albie when we saw another dog in the field he came back to heel #smallwins Can't recommend Lucy enough. She is obviously excelent as what she does and you wont be disappointed 🤩😍
Absolutely amazing
I highly recommend Lucy, she is the most incredible and talented dog trainer who has helped me to train both of my Rottweilers. She is very knowledgeable and is always willing to help answer any questions or offer advice and tips to aid training. Both of my dogs adore Lucy, she has such a lovely way with all of the dogs in the groups and they all respond well to her way of training. My dogs are both very well trained and responsive thanks to the help & training I have received from Lucy. You are missing out if you don’t have Lucy as part of your puppy/dog training journey!!
Great behaviourist! We thought we were experienced dog owners when we got our latest rescue Staffie, but she came with some issues that we didn't seem to know how to sort, Lucy was recommended by a professional dog walker friend and has been absolutely fab, it has been the best investment we could have ever made into our dogs future, we are finally more relaxed when out and about on dog walks ❤️

Michelle was great, really understanding. Robin was at a point where walking her was unbearable and with persistents and Michells help she has improved immensely.
Hello my name is Ri and my caring calm human found me at Holly Hedge Dog Sanctuary Bristol. I have been with my human for 3 years but lately life has been like a roller coaster and my anxiety has become more intense. I experience, anxiety in all areas of my life from meeting new humans to having a strange thing called a lead that is attached to me when I go out for walks ! I also don't like to leave my caring calm human and can't imagine what her day would be without me ! My human decided to introduce in my home to a lady called Michelle Lorde.IMAGINE THAT ! I met Michelle and she felt very safe to be around . Michelle showed my human new skills to help me be more brave around people who enter my home. Michelle came up with lots of solutions to help me overcome my anxiety. After my time with Michelle I am starting to feel a lot better and would like to say thank you to Michelle for all her hard work and support. I would definitely recommend Michelle to hang out with you to help overcome the complexities of the human world.
Michelle has been a huge help with our dachshund. Rolo had developed resource guarding issues from a pup which we think was due to him being hand reared (mum had mastitis and pups couldn’t feed together and learn to share) Michelle helped us to understand why Rolo reacted the way he did and also gave us advice on how to manage this. I think managing his anxiety will be ongoing but with Michelle’s help we feel much more well equipped to help Rolo be a happier dog. I highly recommend Michelle - she is very reassuring and supportive and does not ever make you feel like you are at fault. She understands dogs behaviour and explains why they react in certain ways and how to overcome it. If you have any concerns about your dog then Michelle is the person to turn to.
Michelle is briliant. We had terrible problems from the beginning with our cocker spaniel Missy . She was becoming more and more aggressive and and had bitten me quite seriously on several occasions. I had decided to have her put to sleep but that wasn't an easy option. We took her to the vets and explained the situation and they gave me the names of some dog behaviourists in our area. We chose Michelle and she was wonderful. Michelle understood exactly what the problem was almost at once and advised us on how we dealt with it. This was in November 2018. The results were almost immediate. It is now May 2021 and she really is a lovely dog. Missy will never be a dog I can trust completely but by following certain precautions the bitting has stopped. She is very possessive with stolen things but we have learnt how to deal with her The rest of the time she is a joy to have. She loves people and is perfectly safe around dogs and cats. She as never bitten anyone else. We are very grateful to Michelle because through her we still have our dog because despite everything we love her to bits
Michelle is a fantastic dog trainer and behaviour specialist. She worked with us and our rescue dog Archi over 12 months. She is brilliant at holistically reviewing the struggles and troubles you may be having and she gives a huge amount of support to dog and human alike. Simple and clear advice was the norm; which allowed us to make some much needed progress for Archi, who suffered from anxiety and the city life. We would throughly recommend her to anyone. Thank you again Michelle!

Very friendly and run very well.
I have had such a good experience on the social walks Emma organises that I felt compelled to leave a review. Emma is so lovely and calm and creates such a non-judgemental and supportive environment for everybody and she's wonderful with the dogs. I would really recommend.
Our 1st time visiting Emma and her training group for a dog workshop on her working farm. The location was beautiful in the open countryside and me and my 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed the workshop. Emma has so much patience, explain things really clearly, is very calm, has plenty of advice and is a very positive trainer. We'll definitely be back for more fun!
I recently took park in Emma's beginner barn hunt workshop with my Airedale Terrier. He loved it and we had a great time. Fab facilities and Emma was great to work with.
