This was our first time today! We travelled down from Newcastle with our two Boxers and it really did not disappoint. The field itself was immaculate, the fields were huge and well kept. The dogs were so excited, they loved the apparatus. There was pooh bags provided so no excuse not to pick up your mess as well as water. Dogs are flat out on the drive home after some much deserved fun. We will travel back again for sure.. Thank you for a fantastic experience
Great! Our dogs love the fields!
My dogs bark at other dogs, this gives them a place they can run, even early in the morning, where they can have fun but not disturb anyone! Always clean and booking and arrival /leaving system works well.
I have been to the fields here on many occasions. My dogs and children have a fantastic time! It's very secure , very well kept and perfect for any dog of any size/breed. I'd highly recommend that anyone uses these fields!
Brilliant place to let your dog run free. Reggie loved the activities.

Fantastic agility session today as always. Sarah is a star at keeping Leia calm and focused on training over obstacles. Highly recommend from puppy class to agility and 1 2 1's. Can't wait for next week 🙌
I have attended Sarah's agility class for just over 2 years. We were complete beginners at the start and I was a bit nervous as to whether it would suit us. But with Sarah's lovely manner and her kind and gentle approach we knew we'd come to the right place. She is endlessly patient and positive and always puts the dog's welfare first. My dog absolutely loved the classes and enjoyed the stimulation of learning new things. Sadly, due to a health issue, we can no longer continue but I can't recommend Sarah highly enough and hope her business continues to thrive.
Excellent training with Sarah, we are more than happy with our experience at puppy class. Sarah is great to work with making the training fun for both you and your puppy. Mabel has come on leaps and bounds since the start of training and we are looking forward to more courses. Would thoroughly recommend 💯
Sarah worked with myself and Murphy in the Puppy group lessons sharing her extensive knowledge in a fun and inspiring way. Murphy came on leaps and bounds in such a short time. We will definitely return for the youth club sessions! 100% recommendation from me!

I love my training sessions with Becky who is a knowledgeable, calm presence and able to communicate with patience. My dog Winter respects her and is happy and vibrant when they work together. My confidence with handling Winter has grown immensely since we began training with Becky. Thank you for giving me the skills to ensure that Winter has a great life.
Becki has helped me so much with my new puppy learning so much, helping with our relationship and supporting me in my confidence in handling my dog. I couldn’t recommend her enough! Very supportive and has a lot of knowledge, I’ve grown up with dogs but my first time having my own puppy and she has helped me so much! Couldn’t recommend her more ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We have been lucky enough to be supported by Becci for the last 4 years. Super organised, reliable & knowledgable about both pet & working breeds. Highly recommend & its great to have someone genuinely trustworthy when needed.
Becci looks after my May if I go away. May is a very excitable working cocker, she is very happy in the family home environment and gets lots of exercise. I feel very confident and comfortable leaving May with Becci
Becci has a VERY high knowledge and understanding of dog care, breeding, training and behaviours and has helped me with my female lhasa apso over the years who is now very well trained and I have knowledge and understanding to manage her new learnt behavioirs too. To breed puppies that become Police dogs too shows the quality service Becci provides. I haven't been disappointed and would highly recommend her for anything dog related! 🙂

I have completed both the Puppy and Teenager course with Susie and have been amazed at the results from both courses. The fact that both courses have been online has been brilliant and has made taking part each week a very easy process and has meant the much needed training was completed at home without any distractions. Susie is extremely knowledgeable, approachable and makes the training fun and inclusive for everyone. I will be definitely be signing up for future courses as everything we have done to date has helped teach myself, my family and my puppy to have a calm and happy life. I would recommend Susie and her training courses to anyone looking for help with their puppy/dog as they are 5*! In addition for anyone looking for daycare for their dog Susie has a fantastic setting and I feel completely comfortable and happy that my puppy is safe, and extremely well looked after and he always comes home happy and tired after a day at day care.
Susie is so lovely and helpful she is full of knowledge on dog training. I would highly recommend
Online puppy training classes with Susie got our GSD puppy off to a great start in life.
I have been very impressed with the quality of training received at Muddy Paws Dog Training. I was a bit disappointed at first to find out that all training was going to take place online, but I needn't have worried, as the online training worked very well indeed. Susie had plenty of time to explain the exercises, we were able to watch the accompanying videos without interruptions from our dogs and when it was our turn to do the exercises, we got plenty of encouragement and feedback to make sure we got the best out of our dogs. Another thing I really like is the fact that we got sent a copy of all the training sessions so we are able to go back to any of the exercises whenever we feel the need. Susie is very approachable and always willing to help with any questions you my have outside of the training sessions. I have no reservations at all about recommending Muddy Paws Dog training. My dog Charlie and I thoroughly enjoyed it, we have learned loads and are already signed up for the next course.
We have just completed the 6 weeks online Puppy Training with Susie and we had so much fun. Being able to train at home via Zoom was so beneficial for us especially during the pandemic. All the techniques were fun and the puppies learnt so much. It was great to have all the resources available online after the class to be able to recap on. Susie is a great trainer and is so approachable. Highly recommend and we are looking forward to the next online Zoom classes.

Brilliant. Great experience with chaz, helping us immensely with Jack and the difference in Jack our reactive lurcher is incredible. Can’t recommend highly enough
I can't recommend Chaz and Man's Best Friend Rescue and Training Association highly enough. We adopted our Labrador, David, as a rescue and quickly realized we needed professional help. David was uncontrollable on walks, pulling and lunging, and had some concerning behavioral issues at home. Chaz immediately understood our challenges. He tailored a training program specifically for David, focusing on lead work, manners, impulse control, and building David's confidence. The results have been incredible. We can now enjoy walks with David, and he's so much calmer and happier at home. What sets Chaz apart is his patience, understanding, and genuine love for dogs. He not only trained David but also educated us on how to be better dog parent’s. He's a true expert in dog behavior and training, especially when it comes to rescue dogs. If you're struggling with a rescue dog or just need help with training, don't hesitate to contact Man's Best Friend Rescue and Training Association. Chaz will change your life and your dog's life for the better. We're so grateful for everything he's done for us and David.
Fantastic results for our two boxers :-)
Finding skilled dog trainers in Cathedral Quarter means connecting with professionals who understand the unique challenges of raising dogs in Belfast's vibrant cultural and artistic heart. From training puppies in the historic streets near St Anne's Cathedral to managing reactive dogs along the cobblestone lanes around Writers' Square, our certified trainers deliver personalised obedience training, behaviour modification, and puppy socialisation programmes tailored to this distinctive urban neighbourhood.
Serving the entire Cathedral Quarter including areas around Custom House Square, Hill Street, and Waring Street, we've successfully trained over 850 dogs in this bustling district. Our expertise addresses the specific needs of city centre living, from navigating busy Royal Avenue to enjoying the limited green spaces near the Lagan Weir.
Cathedral Quarter presents unique training challenges shaped by its dense urban environment, thriving arts scene, and high pedestrian traffic. The area's cobblestone streets, historic architecture, and constant activity from bars, restaurants, and cultural venues mean dogs must adapt to intense stimulation including street performers, outdoor dining crowds, and frequent events at venues like the Black Box and Oh Yeah Music Centre.
With limited traditional park space, Cathedral Quarter dogs require excellent lead manners for pavement walking and the ability to settle calmly in dog-friendly establishments throughout the area. Our trainers specialise in urban noise desensitisation, including exposure to delivery vehicles on narrow streets, late-night crowds, and the acoustic challenges of living near entertainment venues. Training ensures your dog thrives in apartment living while becoming a welcome companion in the quarter's many cafés and creative spaces.
We provide comprehensive training services throughout Cathedral Quarter, covering BT1 postcode areas from Donegall Street to the riverside along Corporation Street. Our trainers work near landmarks including St Anne's Cathedral, the MAC arts centre, and throughout the streets surrounding Exchange Place and Talbot Street. We bring mobile training directly to your location, whether you live in a converted warehouse apartment near the Lagan or a modern flat on Hill Street, with consultations typically available within 48 hours.
Our puppy programmes focus on building confidence in Cathedral Quarter's stimulating environment during the critical 8-16 week period. Training covers apartment living essentials including house training without garden access, exposure to street noise and crowds, and basic commands for city navigation. We conduct socialisation at appropriate locations, introducing puppies to the sights, sounds, and surfaces unique to urban Belfast living.
Cathedral Quarter's narrow streets and high dog density often trigger reactivity issues. Our programmes address leash reactivity on crowded pavements, barrier frustration in ground-floor apartments, and stress responses to constant activity. Using positive reinforcement techniques, we build tolerance gradually, helping dogs remain calm when encountering other dogs in tight spaces or passing outdoor seating areas along Commercial Court.
Cathedral Quarter's character as Belfast's cultural hub creates specific requirements for dog owners. The prevalence of apartment living with no private outdoor space means dogs rely entirely on street walks and occasional trips to nearby Waterfront Hall grounds or further afield to Ormeau Park. The area's vibrant nightlife and weekend crowds require dogs with exceptional impulse control and the ability to remain settled despite constant stimulation from Duke of York passage to Union Street.
Dog training in Cathedral Quarter typically costs £45-70 per hour for private sessions, with 6-week packages ranging from £250-400. Group classes cost £15-25 per session. Mobile training services throughout the area mean no additional travel charges for apartment visits.
Absolutely. Our training specifically addresses apartment living challenges including house training without gardens, managing energy levels in smaller spaces, and developing excellent street manners. Most Cathedral Quarter dogs adapt well with proper training, exercise routines, and mental stimulation through enrichment activities suitable for indoor environments.
Professional dog training in Cathedral Quarter creates confident, well-mannered companions suited to dynamic urban living. Our specialised approach addresses the unique challenges of raising dogs in Belfast's busiest cultural district, ensuring your dog becomes a valued member of this vibrant community.
