Adam is a 5 star trainer… this has only been our first session and our dog has completely changed. I’m mesmerised by the change and looking forward to the next 9 sessions… I highly recommend 100%…
In our first 2 hour session with Adam, we saw a huge improvement of our dog Benji’s behaviour. While previously he wouldn’t sit or stay and would weave while walking, after this first session we already were able to get Benji to listen to instructions, socialise with other dogs safely and stay calmer. We also feel like better dog owners with a better understanding of his behaviour from all the information we were provided. We cannot wait for the rest of our sessions and to see Benjis progress. Adam’s direct and concise approach was consistently backed up by his wealth of knowledge and clear results. All the other edit owners we met were so happy with the progress their own dogs were making.
Within 2hours Adam had helped my daughter calm our dog down and start to train her, she went from an aggressive, scary, very vocal stressed dog to a whole new dog i honestly thought i would never see!! In a huge pack of lots of other dogs of all sizes and temperaments my dog was walking around with and doing commands when asked once. Not only that Adam helped us to understand more about our ways as owners but never made us feel like we was awful for the things we had tried to do just explain in simple terms which helped us to understand and change our ways to support the training! Im excited for the next lot of training sessions now and more so excited about actually being able to take my dog for a walk without all the stress behind it for both of us! I cant recommend anyone better than these trainers!!
I recently enrolled my dog, Sherlock (27 months old), in MidlandsGrizzlys' dog school, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Sherlock started with the first ten sessions focused on obedience training, followed by the off-lead programme. The transformation has been remarkable—he's now a stable and well-behaved fur baby, ready to be a positive member of society. The experience has been fantastic, not just for Sherlock but for me as well. It's a brilliant way to get out and meet a wonderful group of people who share a love for dogs. Adam is savvy and genuinely cares about each dog's progress, making the sessions enjoyable and effective. If you're considering dog training, I wholeheartedly recommend MidlandsGrizzlys. It's more than just training your dog it's about building a community and enjoying the journey together. Give it a go—you won't regret it!

Penny had puppy training sessions with Lewis as soon as she was able. She’s nearly 3 years old now…but an absolute joy - because of the investment I put in for puppy training sessions with Lewis. Dog owners I meet in the park always comment at how well behaved Penny is…and I always recommend Lewis. Lewis is so helpful and has always been available with advice and guidance through tough training moments. Thank you Lewis.
Can't reccommend Lewis enough. Such a nice, friendly guy - but more importantly incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Really helped us with our puppy, with the group classes, and also 1-2-1 sessions (one of which we did later once our puppy had turned 11 months) If you are looking for a trainer or some advice, Lewis is superb!
We joined with Freddie the doberdor who is our cross breed Doberman/labrador. He was around 12 weeks old when we started as we are first time dog owners. Lewis helped us with basic training with our puppy from a young age so we could continue with that each week and as he grows up. We understand the importance of puppies need sleep and definitely not to go hungry! We now also recognise signs of distress or unwanted behaviour and how to intervene to reduce any chaotic behaviour. We brought the package that included 2, 1-2-1 sessions and have regular contact with lewis on updates with our doberdor as well as continuous advice and suggestions. We’ve never been to another dog trainer but could not imagine we would get a better service than this! We also regularly go to the Empawrium shop which Freddie thoroughly enjoys and also gives lewis an update on how Freddie is when greeting people and the other dogs inside! I couldn’t imagine how Freddie would be if it wasn’t for the training with lewis and early socialising at the classes. Would highly and strongly recommend Digs Behaving Gladly.
Lewis was amazing in both the training classes and helping our dog Dot with her seperation anxiety. Training was insightful, we and our dog learnt a lot. Not only that, we also popped into his shop for more help (we're complete dog newbies!) and he helped us and gave us some priceless info. Thanks so much will deffo see you again with training for the puppy teenage years!
Lewis has been helping us train our golden retriever puppy and I would highly recommend! Lewis is very knowledgable and has trailered the training for us and Luna! I would highly recommend popping into their shop too, Luna loves her visits to see Kevin 🐶

This is my review for Anthony Campbell Innes, dog trainer/behaviourist.. I have one very reactive boy, he is easily triggered by noises, people, all types of vehicles, and other dogs, he is extremely vocal and pulls hard on his lead. I was giving up hope of walking him without anxiety or stress. I have some mobility issues and even though he is small in stature, he is super powerful, and once triggered immensely difficult for me to handle him. So, I made the decision to get some professional help, and yesterday Luca and myself met Ant for our first training session. Ant was so patient, friendly and makes you feel immediately at ease, he explained in detail aspects of Luca’s behaviour and gave helpful suggestions and invaluable advice on how to get started on his long journey ahead. I was shown how to build upon the groundwork starting inside my home, and how to get Luca to a more suitable point before entering the outside world. Luca responded really well, he has a lot of issues, but he is not broken by any means, he is trainable, it will just take a lot of time, effort and patience. Ant gave me the confidence and the ability to take the next step, and I’ve already put some of the training into practice. Luca made such good progress in a relatively short amount of time, and is slowly becoming desensitised to his triggers. Ant brought along one of his own dogs to help in the session, and this proved to be another invaluable resource. I can’t thank Ant enough, I was giving up hope. I can absolutely recommend Ant to anyone who is having issues with their dog, he is exceptionally knowledgeable and explains everything in such an understandable manner. You can see and feel the genuine love that he has for his canine friends. I will be booking another session without hesitation, he is worth his weight in gold! I can finally look forward to a future with a quieter, calmer Luca by my side..
We would highly recommend Ant. We have seen a big improvement already in our dog, after 1 week of working on the different bits of advice Ant gave us. We were given actionable things to work on, along with a detailed guide that was sent after the visit. We are noticing a big difference already and feel now that we have alot of tools to help us, when taking our dog out and about.
Ant was very good with Teddy and gave very useful training tips to help with his behaviour. Hopefully I can now put them in place and have a reformed dog!
Ant was great - his understanding of and connection with dogs is clear, he had my overstimulated working breed calm and paying attention in no time at all. His instructions of how to achieve once he’d left were clear and with his written plan I feel like I have the knowledge and confidence to continue the methods alone.
Brilliant experience for us and our collie x Arrow. Very knowledgeable, and helpful with general tips and also focusing on problem areas and how we can help Arrow to stay calm. Ant took on board everything we said, was very professional and approachable, and we have already seen a change in Arrow this morning by doing what Ant recommended we do yesterday. We have a long way to go and a lot of work and persistence, but the positivity today has shown is fantastic! Thank you so much! Would highly recommend for anyone who is struggling with their dogs behaviour and wants to know how to help them :)

Fantastic experience training with Rachel. Skye, our 5 month old Labrador, especially enjoys learning and playing with Marcey and Berry at the end of each session. We have learnt so much, whilst having lots of fun. We would highly recommend Prim and Proper Academy.
Rachel is a fantastic trainer, she helped us with our puppy to increase his listening and attention skills and improve his recall. She used fun and interesting games for our puppy to help him learn and helped us as humans to be as clear and consistent as possible. Rachel is very engaging and knowledgeable, she explained things in a way that meant we were able to incorporate the training into our day to day lives. We would definitely recommend Rachel to any of our dog friends. Thank you Rachel for your help!!!
Rachel has been an absolute godsend in helping us to train our very high energy two year old fox red labrador. She is friendly, supportive, and knows exactly what your dog needs. Rachel has succeeded where other trainers have failed us, and she has given me so much more confidence with training and handling our gorgeous but boisterous boy. I would recommend her to any dog owner, but particularly those with gundog breeds.
Rachel is not only helping out beautiful little Storm(y) with her puppy training, she’s also massively helping my confidence and anxiety. Rachel has such a fabulous relationship with Storm and we have all learnt so much. If you’re looking for a caring, calm, supportive and knowledgeable trainer, look no further. Much love 🩷xxxxx
Rachel was absolutely brilliant and helped us so much with our staffie. She was very patient, friendly, explained everything to us and knew exactly what we needed specifically for our dog. Her area for training is perfect, she has everything needed and it’s very secure so we could let our dog off lead to practice recall. The difference we noticed in such a short amount of time was amazing and we are very grateful to Rachel for taking the time to help us and make a plan that was just right for our dog. :)

After researching dog training schools for our pup we were drawn to Scamps due to the emphasis on positive and ethical training. The pup class has taught us commands like sit, down, settling, manners and recall. Scott teaches in a way that breaks the theory down so you understand how and why, training is in steps so you are able to progress stage by stage whilst your dog is happy and eager to learn due to the positive approach to training. A first aid session is also part of the course which we hope we never need but at least we are now prepared. You can tell Scott and Jo love dogs and are passionate about what they do. Special thanks to Jo for the support with Pippin during the sessions and to Scott for his help outside of the classes to help us with some of our pups behaviours. See you on the Bronze course
Wow, we learnt so much on this course. Jo and Scott are great instructors. Thank you so much, looking forward to the Bronze course.
Really does work ,Think outside the box when it comes to dog training . Positive training ,reward, reward and your dog will be the best ,You will also be the best.
We have done Scamps Bronze, Silver and Gold courses with our Springer/Poodle cross. We now have a happy dog who is a pleasure to have around. Scotts teaching is both easy to follow and effective with support to ensure everyone can be successful. I can't recommend Scott and Jo highly enough.
The most amazing trainer I could have ever imagined for my very excitable (and noisy) Staffy puppy. Scott and Jo were both absolutely incredible during the 6 week puppy class and they always made me feel so comfortable with their kind words, guidance and support. The class focused on recall, basic commands, first aid (which was so informative), settling and much much more! It has been the best decision I have made regarding my pup. Scott always goes the extra mile and also gave me advice and methods outside of the classes to help support my pup with his anxiety with walking - to which have worked a treat. ALL training methods are positive for the dog which has really build up confidence with Reggie. NO CRUELTY / NEGATIVE REINFORCEMENT!!! Always putting the dogs needs and their safety first. Another huge thank you for everything you have done for Reggie, hope to see you both soon for a Bronze Course!
