We were recommended RDC by a number of people in our area, and they have exceeded our expectations ten fold. Pep absolutely loves his walks, and whenever we have needed any last minute changes or requests, the team do everything they can to help. The definition of 10/10 service, we don’t know what we’d do without them!

Rachel's Dog Club came highly recommended to us by our behaviourist and you can 100% see why - everything from communication to the walkers themselves have been nothing but a pleasure. Our dog Tofu is a rescue who is rather anxious and reactive but we were immediately put at ease and Tofu absolutely loves every walker she's had!

Great service, really flexible but most importantly our puppy loves his walks and everyone that walks him too!

Rachel’s Dog Club have been the best find ever! So pleased they were recommended to us by friends. Everything runs like clockwork - so smooth, easy and organised! Everyone in the team are just lovely and we have met the delightful Halle through them who our dogs absolutely adore (maybe more so than they do us haha!) Halle makes a huge fuss of our dogs, takes them out on fun outings, buys them toys and sends us regular updates through the day on what they’re upto, so that we can relax and enjoy our holidays knowing our dogs and home are in safe hands! It is clear to see that Rachel’s Dog Club go above and beyond when it comes to delivering an excellent service and the very best care, attention and love for dogs. We now recommend them to everyone who has a fur baby 🥰

My large German Shepherd, Charlie, was started to think he was walking me rather than the other way round. Fraser took me through a few ideas and we're back to normal. Excellent service.

Recommend so highly. Fraser has been amazing since we got our dog. He has known him from 10 weeks old and has become almost like an extended part of the fam. So trust worthy and reliable and most of all our dog loves him. We feel really reassured and happy that we have found Fraser; knowing our little man is looked after. Thanks again!

I have a 3.5 year old crazy cocker spaniel (Max) who as you can imagine has a LOT of energy to burn! Fraser has been fab taking Max out on group walks and building his confidence. Max can be a little unsure of new people, men in particular, however as soon as he sees Fraser he's goes bonkers which reassures me he is having a good time! In addition to this, Max comes back tired, happy and relaxed. Couldn't recommend Fraser enough!!

Clare and the gang are just great. We've done two courses and a workshop with them and they've all been great - lots of materials and support and just really practical. I've found it so reassuring be taught how to understand my puppy and concrete steps i can take to stop certain behaviours and develop others. We also had a home visit with Clare which sorted a problem we were having with our puppy nipping our youngest. Throughout all of this, the thing I most appreciate is how the team present and engage - they create a warm space to talk about all this stuff without being too judgy. A lot of the dog training world is pretty preachy and judgy and Clare and the team really help take that stress out of dog training while sticking too best practice force-free training informed by recent research. I recommend Clare to anyone who'll listen!

Had an absolutely amazing experience with CB Dogs with my French Bulldog puppy, on Puppy Foundations and I’d highly recommend them! Over the 5 weeks of the course we learnt SO MUCH! Not only do you get the weekly sessions but you also get access to some amazing online material and zoom q&a, for life to set your dog up the right way. All the staff and volunteers are so lovely, welcoming, professional and passionate - as are the other dog owners that attend. It really is a magical space! We can’t wait to return for some more courses and to make more pup friends!

We had a great time at puppy classes! We are first time dog owners and found these classes so helpful. The online training materials alone are fantastic and the in person sessions are a great way to practice training around other dogs. We also went to socialisation sessions which were really helpful and lots of fun. The difference before and after these courses has been so clear! Very many thanks to Clare and the team.

Fantastic training with Clare and the team. The sessions helped my puppy Dixie and I so much with behaviour and training basics as well as some fab tricks too. I also really appreciated the videos and extra resources that were provided in addition to the in-person sessions, and the ongoing advice and support we have access to post-training is so valued. Would highly recommend.

Mabel has just completed the puppy foundation course at CB Dogs. I highly recommend the course for all new puppy owners. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions etc. Excellent resources provided online to assist learning before each class, I found this and the pdf documents really helpful and I struggle sometimes with my memory so getting the information online in videos, via the pdfs and in person at the classes was a fantastic way to learn. We are looking forward to attending the progression course and workshops in the future.

We have been working with Dean to help with our rescue dog Mac’s reactivity. Dean is approachable and calm and immediately puts your mind at ease. He goes above and beyond and he treats our dog with compassion. We are getting so much from our session and we have seen improvements in Mac from day one. We would highly recommend Dean.

If you are in need of dog training, whether it’s a big or multiple small issues, Dean is the one to call. Firstly his passion for dogs and the love he has for them shines through and he is such a lovely person that you feel very comfortable with in your own home. The communication was faultless and the tips and advice he gave us were priceless and we learnt so much, even though we have looked through hours of content online! Deans teaching style is easy to follow, and his knowledge on dogs is amazing. We have completed a single course of 4 weeks and have learnt so so much! I can not recommend him more highly, he deserves more than 5*’s!! Thanks again Dean for all your help!

We contacted Dean as we needed some help with our Golden Retriever Maggie in that we were having trouble settling her at work and in restaurants, with her constantly barking and demanding attention. Going out with her wasn’t the amazing experience it should be but all that changed with Dean and place training. We can now go out anywhere with Maggie and actually enjoy the experience and Maggie is well behaved and enjoys the time too. We also did some work with lead training and walks as Maggie had a tendency to pull ahead. With both situations Dean listened to what we needed and then offered advice, we then started implementing the training with Dean watching and advising and praising. Maggie is our second dog but training has changed so much in that time, also you get settled in your ways and maybe loose a bit of confidence when it comes time to train a new puppy. What makes Dean so good is that the solution is always so simple it’s staring you in the face but he’s also training you to be a better dog owner and giving you the confidence that you can do it and that with hard work you can sort the issue. I would recommend Dean to anyone that has any issue. Thank you Dean we can’t thank you enough.

Erik, our golden retriever, did not walk well on the lead, was over reactive to other dogs and barked continuously. As a consequence of his behaviour when I walked him I had little confidence in controlling him and would become very anxious if we saw another dog. I avoided the park and his walks were quite boring for us both. We contacted Dean and asked if he could help us. Dean has been amazing. He has worked with us and shown us how to interact with Erik correctly and given us the necessary advice on how to deal with situations I would have avoided previously, for example, seeing another dog. His explanations about dog behaviour and why we need to put certain practices in place has been invaluable. Erik's barking is lessening but the major difference is in myself and the confidence I now have in walking and controlling him. He has pulling has all but stopped and he has learnt so much ; our walks are now full of fun and stimulation. I can't wait to start our next sessions on recall and have every faith that we will achieve the same fantastic results we have done so far. If you need any dog related help, advice or training, I would highly recommend Dean. He is a man who knows his stuff!

Courtney and Shannon helped us out when we were in a difficult spot with our dog Ruben as no other walker would take him due to issues with his behaviour. I can’t fault them they have always been so lovely, flexible and kind. Somehow despite Ruben being partial to pulling on the lead Shannon never has a bad word to say and always tells me of how she enjoyed the walks. They offer an excellent service at a reasonable price. I can’t recommend them enough.

We were lucky enough to find Shannon and Courtney just after we adopted our rescue greyhound Presley, we are eternally grateful for their short walks during the day, and the flexibility to the schedule when things change. Presley is sometimes a stubborn soul, and the comms from both Shannon and Courtney are excellent, letting us know if he wouldn’t go out for any reason, or what’s got him interested that day. We couldn’t recommend their services more highly (and have told any dog owners we know in the area about them already!)

Shannon has been walking our dog Winston for almost a year now and we couldn’t be happier. She takes him out twice a week and he always has such a lovely time. He’s so excited to see her when she arrives! Shannon is super reliable and hasn’t missed a single scheduled walk yet. I would highly recommend :)

Hare to Hound have been the perfect place for my bunnies to spend their vacations. They provide photos and updates so you can rest easy that your fluffy ones are being well looked after. They offer a really personal touch and I would never hesitate to board my bunnies with them

Left my bunny for the first time (almost 5) & I was incredibly nervous. Shannon was great allowing me to bring things from home such as her blankets and toys, and sending me updates & photos daily. I also paid for an additional nail clip which was incredibly handy & saved me an additional trip to the vet. Will be booking again.

Professional Dog Trainers in Salford City Centre: Expert Canine Training

Finding qualified dog trainers in Salford City Centre means working with professionals who understand the unique challenges of urban dog ownership in this vibrant Manchester neighbourhood. From training puppies near the stunning waterfront developments at MediaCityUK to managing reactive dogs along the Irwell River walkways, our certified trainers deliver expert obedience training, behaviour modification, and socialisation programmes tailored to city living.

Serving areas including Chapel Street, Greengate, Trinity, and the Quays, we've successfully trained over 1,800 dogs in Salford's urban core. Our expertise addresses the specific demands of this dynamic area, from navigating busy Salford Central Station to enjoying off-lead exercise at Peel Park.

Why Choose Dog Training in Salford City Centre

Salford City Centre presents unique training requirements shaped by its mix of modern developments, historic areas, and waterfront locations. The area's transformation with MediaCityUK, The Lowry, and new residential towers means dogs must adapt to construction activity, tram noise from the Metrolink, and constant foot traffic along Salford Quays. Our trainers specialise in desensitising dogs to urban stimuli including crowds at Lowry Outlet Mall, traffic on Chapel Street, and the bustling environment around Salford University campus.

With predominantly apartment living and limited private outdoor space, Salford City Centre dogs require excellent public manners and reliable recall in shared green spaces like Peel Park and along the Irwell riverside paths. We understand local transport links, ensuring your dog can confidently travel on Metrolink services and buses connecting to Manchester city centre.

Dog Training Solutions for Salford City Centre Residents

Puppy Socialisation and Foundation Training

Our puppy programmes focus on the critical 8-16 week period, introducing young dogs to Salford's urban environment including Metrolink trams, waterfront activity at Salford Quays, and diverse city sounds. Training covers apartment-appropriate house training, crate training for high-rise living, and essential commands, with socialisation sessions at locations like Peel Park building confidence around other dogs and urban distractions.

Reactive Dog and Behaviour Modification

Salford's busy pedestrian areas often trigger reactivity issues. Our behaviour modification programmes address leash reactivity on Chapel Street, barrier frustration in apartment settings, and fear-based responses to urban stimuli. Using positive reinforcement, we help dogs develop calm behaviour when encountering triggers along the Irwell or in crowded areas near MediaCityUK.

Advanced Obedience and Urban Manners

For dogs progressing beyond basics, we develop reliable off-lead control for safely enjoying Peel Park and riverside areas. Training includes distance commands, emergency stops, and advanced lead work for navigating busy city streets. We also specialise in public transport training and preparing dogs for Salford's dog-friendly cafés, bars, and venues throughout the Quays and city centre.
