I have just finished my first puppy course with my springer pup, Hopper, and cannot recommend it highly enough! I have learnt so much in just four sessions and been amazed at how well Hopper has responded to Sue’s training advice! I was part of a lovely group and all the pups seemed to be having the time of their lives at the classes. Sue’s methods are patient, kind and gentle, and encourage your dog to blossom. I wasn’t very confident at the start of the course after losing my previous dog traumatically and Sue has been so supportive and understanding. Already booked onto the next course and have a bucket list of other courses and classes which I believe will help me to give Hopper an active and fulfilled life. Thank you so much Hare and Hounds ❤️
Charlie is a different pup!! Make no mistake, this is HUMAN training not puppy training. It turns out that they now exactly what to do if you’re trained properly in how to ask them properly :) Thanks Sue for all the positive tips, well explained advice (including health and basic first aid) and the copious amounts of dog pate! 🐾
Brilliant course, lovely team and great results If you want to train your pup it’s here to go!
Steve has been absolutely amazing with training our one year old red lab Toby. The 1-2-1 training has been fantastic and we have seen huge progress in Toby’s behaviour from week one. We really benefit from having Steve show us what we need to do and then helping us adjust our actions as we practice what he has shown us. He also gives us great tips of food and treats etc, and we will definitely be booking our next puppy in for the puppy training course when we get one.

I did the beginner watercolour course and really enjoyed it. Lovely relaxed environment. The classes had a nice progression, equipment was provided but I was also able to try out my newly purchased supplies and get advice. I’ve enjoyed it so much I signed up to carry on with some of the paint club sessions which have been a great opportunity to keep practicing and do your own ideas or take inspiration from some themed pictures. All while enjoying a nice chat and a cuppa. Highly recommend!
Did the beginners watercolour course. Enjoyed it very much and JJ was very patient and encouraging! Highly recommend
I have been to a few of Jess's painting workshops and have really loved every one of them. I started as a complete novice, I'd never used watercolours before, and am so proud of the paintings I have produced, which is purely down to her gentle encouragement and advice. The new shop at Buttercups Tearoom is a really welcoming space, full of wonderful unique items - definitely worth a look if searching for a unique gift for someone or for yourself!
Jess is absolutely lovely and very knowledgable. She has a natural way with dogs and quickly got to know our puppy Charlie and the areas we want to focus on. We nearly didn’t bother with training, thinking we would get by, but are so pleased we did. We learnt a huge amount and have lots of techniques to use to help us navigate the early years. We highly recommend!
Jess has been so brilliant with our energetic little puppy. She is professional, helpful and extremely knowledgeable and has given us so much confidence with guiding us through our puppy's early training. Highly recommend!

Lucy was so helpful straight from the initial contact. We explained what we would like to achieve and Lucy helped show some great drills which were fun for our 5 month sprocker as well as myself. The follow up email from Lucy to put what we went over into an email was prompt. We look forward to getting some commands working to hopefully progress further in the near future. Great value for cost. Highly recommended. Thanks Lucy.
I can’t thank Lucy enough for all her help, guidance and support whilst training our 1year old golden retriever, Enzo. We had issues with him jumping, guarding, pulling on his lead and virtually no recall skills at all! All of the training was made fun for us and Enzo and we saw improvements in his behaviour really quickly. A few months on and we now have a well controlled, well behaved and beautifully mannered retriever and we wouldn’t have done it without her. The Marshall family and Enzo cannot thank her enough!
I can't recommend Lucy enough, she has helped me through a few issues with my dogs, and my dogs adore her.
I can highly recommend Lucy, great to work with, very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you Lucy, Ava & I are very grateful for your help.
I originally contacted Lucy at Waggology Dog Training after we brought home our 5 month old golden retriever, Ozzy. After having previously owned a dog before that had a number of behavioural issues and severe reactivity, we were very keen to ensure we got our training off to the right start. Thankfully we had none of these aggressive signs with Ozzy, however we did notice some over excitement and lack of recall around distractions when out, as well as signs of noise sensitivity with busy roads and busy places. Lucy was extremely friendly and professional from the very first contact, and during each session, she gave us some different exercises to practice at home and on our walks. We noticed incredible improvements from the first week, with Ozzy already showing a much higher level of attention and focus to us rather than passing distractions. On our third session we even had him entirely off lead with great results as well as happily walking down our main road with tractors and lorries unnerved. Lastly, as Ozzy became more settled in our home we noticed a bad habit of wanting to run out the front door to greet visitors excitedly. I mentioned this to Lucy who told me exactly how to address this straight away. And already, Ozzy no longer reacts to the doorbell and are able to send him to his bed where he waits patiently until I give him the ok to leave, just only a few days after Lucy’s advice. I would not hesitate in recommend Waggology Dog Training to anyone, (and already have!) and we look forward to continuing with her advice to build on what Ozzy has already learnt. Thank you for all of your help!

Jodie is an amazing dog carer. My dog Ned absolutely loves being with Jodie. She is knowledgeable and kind and patient.
Jodie has been walking our 2 spaniels for 18months now. For the first 3 months alone, then when she thought they were ready, she introduced them to the pack & they now enjoy the privilege of 2 pack walks a week. She always accommodates them at late notice, when I manage to pick up more hours & I am relaxed in the knowledge that they are happy & safe when I can’t be there. I sometimes watch how excited they are in the Furbo, when she arrives, they absolutely love her & definitely look forward to their time with her & the pack. When other dog walkers turned us down & wouldn’t take them on, due to their energy & bouncy nature, Jodie saw a fun challenge & knew she could handle them. I get a stream of photos/ video after every walk, which always makes my day when I’m having a quick lunch & also helps to ease my guilt & anxiety from leaving them.
Jodie has walked my dog for over a year now and I have found her to be utterly reliable, completely trustworthy and very accommodating. My dog loves her to bits and despite being a very anxious and unpredictable dog, Jodie has always been very calm and consistent in her care. Jodie has also shown me how to manage my dogs behaviour and walks are now much more pleasurable as a result.
Jodie is absolutely brilliant!!! I was looking for someone to look after my dog during the day and wasn't aware that she didn't do daycare. It was extremely last minute but a family emergency came up and I needed someone to help. Jodie went above and beyond to help me, even asking in a local group chat that she is in. She was happy to mover her schedule around to help me out and even offered to pop in to help me out. She is by far the best.
Jodie has looked after our Springer Spaniel this week. She couldn't have done a better job. He loved his walks. She is so knowledgeable and has even helped us with his aversion to his harness. Would definitely reccomend if you are in need of a dog walker.

Good training moving at a good pace
Jamie is such a great and encouraging trainer to dogs of any temperament and ability. The training is at the dog and handlers own pace, in a great venue.

Finding a qualified dog trainer in Oadby means connecting with professionals who understand the specific needs of this charming Leicestershire town where suburban living meets accessible green spaces. From puppy training sessions at Brocks Hill Country Park to managing reactive dogs along the peaceful paths of Oadby Peace Memorial Park, our certified trainer delivers personalised obedience training, behaviour modification, and puppy socialisation programmes tailored to local conditions.
Serving all areas including Oadby town centre, Wigston, South Wigston, and the surrounding villages, we've successfully trained over 850 dogs across the area in the past eight years. Our expertise addresses the unique challenges of dog ownership in this community-focused town, from navigating busy Leicester Road to enjoying off-lead exercise in local parks and countryside walks.
Oadby presents distinct training requirements shaped by its blend of residential streets, excellent parks, and proximity to Leicester's urban environment. The town's green spaces including Brocks Hill Country Park, Oadby Peace Memorial Park, and nearby Knighton Park provide ideal training environments but also mean dogs encounter other canines regularly, making proper socialisation and recall training essential.
Our trainer specialises in addressing local challenges including traffic desensitisation along the busy A6, preparing dogs for family-friendly environments around the University of Leicester's Oadby campus, and building confidence in dogs that visit nearby Leicester city centre. We understand the needs of Oadby's predominantly family-oriented community, where dogs must coexist peacefully in residential neighbourhoods with close-knit streets and shared community spaces.
Our puppy programmes focus on the critical 8-16 week socialisation period, introducing young dogs to Oadby's environment including local traffic, park activities, and diverse people. Training covers house training, crate training, bite inhibition, and essential commands, with controlled socialisation sessions at Brocks Hill helping puppies develop confidence around other dogs and preventing future behavioural issues.
We address leash reactivity, fear-based responses, and aggression through positive reinforcement and systematic desensitisation. Training in real-world Oadby locations like Glen Road and local parks builds tolerance gradually, replacing reactive behaviours with calm focus even when encountering triggers on typical walking routes.
Our advanced training develops reliable off-lead control for safely enjoying Oadby's parks and countryside. We build bombproof recall despite distractions, distance commands, and sophisticated lead work suitable for both quiet residential streets and busier areas near the town centre, giving owners complete confidence during walks.
Dog training in Oadby typically ranges from £35-65 per hour for private sessions, with 6-week programmes averaging £240-400. Group classes cost £10-18 per session, offering affordable options for basic obedience. Initial consultations are often available for £25-40, allowing discussion of your dog's specific needs before committing to a programme.
Begin training immediately when bringing your puppy home around 8 weeks old. The critical socialisation window between 8-16 weeks makes early exposure to Oadby's environment essential. Puppies can join group classes after initial vaccinations around 10-12 weeks, though dogs of any age benefit from professional training.
Brocks Hill Country Park offers excellent open spaces for recall training and controlled socialisation. Oadby Peace Memorial Park provides quieter areas ideal for reactive dogs, while the paths around Stoughton Farm Park offer varied environments for building confidence. Residential streets in quieter areas like Mayfield Road work well for lead training practice.
Professional dog training in Oadby creates well-behaved, confident companions perfectly suited to this family-friendly community. Our proven methods combine expert techniques with local knowledge, ensuring your dog thrives whether walking through town, playing in local parks, or relaxing at home. Contact us today to schedule your initial consultation and start your journey toward a perfectly trained dog.
