Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Grahame with his expertise in helping with our Cockapoo who was pulling on her lead when going out for walks. We saw an immediate improvement within the hour that we were there and she has continued to improve each day. She is a pleasure to walk now. She also reacted every time we gave someone a hug and this has stopped completely. She is a completely different dog and we can’t thank you enough.
I'd like to thank Grahame & Sarah for all there help with Harper my BSD. She was nervous & reactive to dogs & people. We started off with a couple of 1-2-1 sessions then completed the 8 week Introductory course. Now we've just started the advanced class! We've still got a way to go but now I know we'll get there. With Grahame & Sarah's help of course.
We can’t thank Grahame enough for his invaluable training, advice and support with our husky-shepherd pup. As a rescue, he was very timid and anxious when we got him, but just a few sessions later, he is now loving life! Grahame gave us brilliant techniques to practise between sessions which kept consistency and built trust between us and have resulted in a much more confident pup that we can take anywhere. We can’t recommend Grahame enough. We were never rushed and feel he always goes above and beyond to overcome any issues we have had with public places, vehicles, recall and basic commands.
We really enjoyed our dog training sessions. It was a good environment with plenty of outdoor space and indoor space if needed. We leant a lot during the course which was thoughtfully put together and explained. Grahame and Sarah are lovely - encouraging friendly and helpful. My daughter (11) and I, plus dog, were sad to finish our lessons but we're pleased to find out we can continue with some occasional Saturday sessions which is ideal for us.
Had a great time at our basic training class.Grahame and Sarah giving lots of advice in all aspects of training and every day life to help with a very excitable puppy. Looking forward to continuing our journey with the next class.

We had a great experience with Thomas. He answered all of our questions that we had and gave us great tips and advice on training our dogs. We are working on all training tips and hoping that in the next 3 weeks we will see an improvement. Thank you :)
Today was a big day for Dude, and I just had to share how impressed I am with the training session he had with Thomas! From start to finish, Thomas was incredibly patient and insightful, really understanding Dude's personality and specific needs. Dude can sometimes be a little stubborn, but Thomas quickly gained his trust and made the whole session feel fun and engaging for him. It was clear that Thomas has a deep knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques, as he knew exactly how to work with Dude to reinforce positive habits and improve his focus. I noticed a huge difference in Dude’s behavior after just one session. He’s more responsive, calmer, and seems to understand commands better. What I loved most was how Thomas made sure to keep things positive, using plenty of praise and rewards, which kept Dude excited to learn. Overall, I’m so grateful for Thomas’s dedication to Dude’s training today. I’m looking forward to more sessions and seeing Dude continue to thrive under Thomas’s guidance. Highly recommend Thomas to anyone looking to train their dog!
We have enjoyed our training experience with Tom showing us how to get the best out of our dog Betsy. He has an upbeat cheerful way of training and Betsy really enjoyed it as well as us.Thanks Tom
Tom helped me look for my missing ferret out of the kindness of his own heart! Super nice guy and super clever dog!

Excellent course, great, responsive organisation
I have currently been enrolled for about a month now i am taking the DTCP3 program in September. I have been amazed at crash courses and programs on offer to me while i wait for my program to start! The learning platform is easy to get on with and support is as ways at hand. It is a amazing community to be apart of and would recommend any body wanting to go into a career in dog training or just want to learn a little more about the pet!

We cannot recommend Tamasine highly enough. We were really struggling to understand and manage our Spanish Rescue Podenco and at the point of sadly considering rehoming. Her approach and honest support has enabled us not only to safely keep our dog but to truly enjoy him and watch him flourish. Tamasine breaks her process down into manageable steps that make absolute sense and allow time for dog and family to really embed the learning. Most importantly for us, the process has built confidence, helped our dog trust in us and start to relax.
We inherited Billy after a family bereavement and at ten years old he could be reactive to other dogs and nervous with certain situations. From the very start of working with Tamasine not only were the improvements obvious we could see Billy loved learning the foundations and following the training was easy. Every video call was followed by thorough notes to help in-between sessions and feedback on the videos we sent was really helpful. The in person sessions with Tamasine really helped with understanding and just showed how much Billy had improved....he is a different dog and the guidance and help received from Tamasine cannot be understated. I would highly recommend Tamasine and it shows that a dog even of Billy's age can change mainly by allowing him to think for himself while looking to us for support.
What impressed me from the moment I made my initial inquiry with Tamasine was the support she gave me. I had so many questions and worries about my dog Bella which Tamasine was so happy to answer. Her communication and detail in her replies confirmed from the very beginning that I had found the right person. Her knowledge, passion and kindness filled me with so much confidence (I've never felt like that with any one else who I've asked for help). Since Bella was rescued as a puppy from Turkey, I also needed someone who has an understanding of street dogs. I learnt so much from Tamasine about street dogs and their different needs, therefore understanding why Bella was struggling. This really helped me to build a better relationship with Bella and to help her cope with her stress and anxiety. I also highly recommend Tamasine's online sessions. I know if Tamasine had come to my home at the beginning , Bella would have been very stressed, anxious and unable to learn anything. The online sessions enabled me to work with Bella for the full time knowing she was calm, relaxed and engaged. The sessions are very well structured and delivered with notes and further videos sent to you after. You have to put in the effort but I really enjoyed having focussed exercises to complete with Bella. When Tamasine did come to my home, Bella welcomed her in. Doing all the foundation work online really paid off. Thanks to Tamasine, Bella is now a happy, calm and confident dog. The techniques that I have learnt means that Bella is much happier on her walks. If I find myself needing to support Bella on a walk, Tamasine has gifted me a brilliant tool kit of techniques and approaches to use. I love our walks now.
We came to Tamasine for help with our Romanian rescue dog. Ziggy is a playful dog who is nervous around strangers and noise sensitive. When we adopted her she was sometimes too scared to leave the house. Ziggy has made great progress since working with Tamasine. What you get with Tamasine is not an attempt to tinker around with the behaviour issue. It’s about building a base (a bond and greater understanding of your dog) from which you can work on the issue but also apply these principles to so much more. The online sessions plus 2 follow-up face-to-face session model works really well and any queries we had between sessions were answered quickly and extensively. Ziggy has gained hugely in confidence and I think that’s largely because Tamasine has given us confidence. We would recommend Tamasine without hesitation. Thank you!

Jess has been amazing in helping to train our puppy and us. She has been a tower of strength and support and no question has been a silly question. We cannot thank her enough and look forward to continuing our journey
Cooper had a great time attending both the initial and follow on puppy classes. Jess has endless creative ideas about things to try and ways to teach different things, as well as sharing her own experiences with her dogs. Classes are relaxed and attract a range of pups which provide a good level of distraction for teaching new things! After finishing the two sets of classes, Cooper (now 9 months) is more relaxed in busy situations and around other dogs. He's able to sit, lay, stay, touch, safety and a bunch of other things. He also is great at loose lead walking and his recall gets better every day!
We have used Jess For both the puppy classes at our local vets and a set of 6 one to one sessions covering among other things recall, loose lead walking, sit and stay, Jess also helped with Cocos nervousness to loud noises, The videos i have received from Jess after each session help so much and i can revisit them time and time again. Jess has also taught me to understand how to read Coco from her reactions ect. The classes are always fun and i feel i have a much closer bond and understanding with Coco. From a very nervous puppy to a confident, happy responsive young lady , Coco and myself enjoyed our time With Pawfect Pets and would give 10 stars if we could . Thanks so much x
We took our young labradoodle puppy Dolly along to the training These sessions were fun and informative for Dolly and us. It was nice to meet other families with young dogs and understand we are not alone with some issues. Jess is a knowledgeable and friendly trainer. She has lots of experience and is always available to give advice and suggestions We have just signed up for the next 6 sessions as Dolly has come along so well and the training is really working Would recommend
I am very pleased with our 121 sessions. I have built a lot stronger bond between Woody & myself. Which has led to Woody being a lot more engaged with my instructions. We now have so many things to work on to continue with Woody's training. I have thoroughly enjoyed these sessions with Jess. Being able to message her if needed, was reassuring. Many thanks & will be in touch again in the spring for more 121 sessions.

Norwich City Centre presents distinctive training challenges shaped by narrow medieval lanes, busy shopping areas, and historic architecture. The city's pedestrianised zones around the Royal Arcade and Castle Quarter require dogs with excellent lead manners and impulse control. Popular riverside paths along the Wensum and proximity to Chapelfield Gardens mean frequent encounters with other dogs, making proper socialisation essential.
Our trainers specialise in desensitising dogs to urban stimuli including bells from Norwich Cathedral, crowds during the renowned Norwich Market days, and the historic cobbled streets throughout the city centre. We understand local transport links and train dogs to travel confidently on frequent bus services that connect the city. With many residents living in converted Georgian townhouses and modern apartments, we address the specific needs of dogs in compact urban homes.
Our puppy programmes focus on the critical 8-16 week socialisation period, introducing young dogs to Norwich's distinctive urban environment including market crowds, street performers, and riverside activity. Training covers essential commands, house training for apartment living, and building confidence around the diverse sights and sounds found throughout the city centre, from the Forum's modern architecture to the ancient lanes of Elm Hill.
We specialise in preparing dogs for Norwich's dog-friendly culture, including settling calmly in cafés along Upper St Giles Street, navigating crowded areas like Gentleman's Walk during peak shopping hours, and maintaining composure near outdoor dining areas. Dogs learn to walk politely on narrow pavements, ignore street food, and remain focused despite the constant activity throughout Norwich's bustling commercial heart.
Dog training in Norwich City Centre typically costs £45-70 per hour for private sessions, with 6-week puppy courses averaging £180-320. Group classes range from £15-25 per session. Many trainers offer initial consultations for £25-40 to assess your dog's specific needs before committing to a programme.
Popular training locations include Chapelfield Gardens for controlled environments, riverside paths along the Wensum for distraction work, and quiet early morning sessions near the Cathedral Close.
