Best way I can describe this doggie day care centre is Alton Towers for dogs. My dog goes to sleep after a day at Pat’s Paws with a permanent smile on his face. Before sending Murphy to Pat’s Paws he always came back unsettled from other day care centres. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who work at the centre.
Mollie the boxer has been going to Pats Paws for 5 years and absolutley loves it. The whole team are amazing and look after our pets like their own. I would recommend Pats Paws to anyone and everyone!
Five Stars for Pat’s Paws! My dog Margo has been going to Pat’s Paws since she was a puppy, and I truly couldn’t imagine a better place for her. Every morning when they arrive for pickup, no matter which driver it is, she runs out the door wagging her tail, absolutely thrilled to go. It’s such a relief to know she’s excited and happy to head off for her day. The team at Pat’s Paws is incredibly trustworthy—I’m comfortable giving them access to my home for pickups and drop-offs when I’m not there, which makes life so much easier. Margo always comes back tired (in the best way) and clean, which shows how well she’s looked after. They also post frequent updates and photos on Facebook, which I love. You can really see how big and beautiful the farm is, with so much space and enrichment for the dogs to run, play, and explore. It’s clear they put a lot of care and thought into creating a fun, stimulating, and safe environment. I can’t recommend Pat’s Paws enough. Margo loves it there—and so do I!

Michael truly is as described - a proper dog guru! We worked together for 2 1/2 hours through very practical training methods focused on building positive behavioural associations. Within 5 minutes of arriving we were working directly with Roland across everything from jumping up and greetings, impulse control, to walking off the lead in a busy park alongside fun games and tricks to keep him fulfilled. Michael helped breakdown some of the pitfalls you may find from overly generalised advice that you read which ultimately confuses you to clear and well explained processes you can easily repeat. All this added up to a very happy dog, who responded well to all the methods being employed and a very happy owner who now has the confidence to put these into practice and enjoy the training too! Bravo!

This is our rescue dog who has been with us for the past 2.5 years - she is going to be 10 years old this year. The issue we were having was her pulling on the lead like MAD making walks not that pleasant an experience. Tried training her following videos on YT but with no luck - Enter Michael! Within one afternoon, our dog was walking next to us or behind us and continues to do so - sometimes tries to pull but we have the tools to not allow her to do so thanks to Michael! Now we need to get her socialised and we know where we will get that help! With The Dog Guru Michael - you can teach old dogs new tricks!
I can't praise Michael enough: we landed him with two puppies (brothers), two days after getting them from the breeder as we were unable temporarily to settle them and within two weeks we got two well-behaved healthy puppies back, who were already house trained and responding to a range of commands (and obviously enjoying it). They are now a month on and are growing up into two respectable young dogs: Michael gave them the best possible start in life and I can recommend his services whole heartedly: he is brilliant!! That was 12 months ago. Since then we lost one of the boys and got a new puppy to help the remaining one adjust. That meant retraining and Michael again did a superb job. Can’t recommend him enough!!!
My husband and I are extremely happy with the support and service Michael has provided. We've learned so much about our puppy and how to train her the essentials to support her transition into the human world and rules. He is always available for a chat, we don't know what we would have done without him!

We are so glad we did Heather’s 121 puppy package! Getting a puppy with two children at home under 5 was a little overwhelming, but after the session to prep for puppy’s arrival we were feeling a lot more confident and knew how to tackle the first few days/weeks. Heather’s advice was invaluable and it was so helpful to be able to message her as and when needed for advice in between sessions. Heather has showed us so many exercises to do that we would have never thought of that have been really useful for managing a puppy in a busy family life. We would 100% recommend!
Heather kindly did me a 4 day crash course for my Cocker Spaniel. Badger. The dog very quickly pick up on Heathers voice commands and demonstrates how much the dog wants to please . Her approach is one of persuasion by kind but firm commands. Heather gave up one day of her holiday to help me out. I can throughly recommend her. Adrian
Heather is fantastic, we had a few sessions with our 8 month old cockapoo who was starting to develop some bad habits and she totally changed how we interacted with him, for the better. She is an expert in Spaniels and Doodles and helped us use his scent drive to work with him not against him. We now have a really wonderful, calm, happy dog. I am so glad I found her and will not hesitate to use her again in the future. She is also (unlike a lot of other dog trainers out there) as good with humans as she is with dogs so won't make you feel like a failure with your own canine family member!
Amazing!! Heather is very knowledgeable and amazing at what she does. She is happy to help with anything and listens to what is important for you and your pup. After just 1 session our little Poppy was already focusing more and her heel walking was improving. We are much happier and more confident taking her out now that Heather has given us all the tools we need to deal with situations that may arise. We still have a way to go but I am confident we will get there Thanks to Heather.

Brilliant dog trainer. Highly recommended. Daisy helped our 14 year old daughter train our new German shepherd pup. We get compliments all the time on how well behaved he is now. Daisy focuses on what's needed, and what you want not just generic commands. Her pack walks and classes are legendary as well and everyone should do them.
I can't recommend daisy enough, she has helped us so much and changed our lives with our reactive rescue, right from the start she has gone above and beyond to help our dog, our handover after residential training was full of amazing information and a lovely long walk after reuniting with my gorgeous Leo, and love that she keeps in contact for updates, thankyou so much

Stormie is absolutely excellent at her job. Milo, can’t wait to go outside with her, whether it’s for a fun play session or a nice walk in the woods with his new furry friends🐶. She is super reliable, flexible, and always goes the extra mile to make sure Milo is happy and well cared for. I feel completely comfortable leaving Milo in her hands, knowing he is not only safe but also having an absolute blast on his walks.
