Claire has been excellent with our rescue dog Marlie. We attended one on one lessons with Claire. Helping to work on and improve her recall and reactive behaviours. Claire helped improve confidence for Marlie but also us. We also attended a 4 week focus and engagement class with Claire which we saw massive improvements in Marlie. The class is fun, relaxed and only has 4 dogs per session. Claire is understanding, friendly and really focuses on what is going to help your dog. We have planned to continue to work with Claire.

We rescued our Mastiff Moose in February and booked Claire for a 1 to 1 session to help us with handling our big excitable young boy on the lead. We've had 3 sessions so far and Claire has been fantastic at helping us understand Moose and she has given us lots of advice and things to work on. A very knowledgeable, calm and understanding trainer who I'd highly recommend if you need some support with your dog.

Met with Claire twice for 1-on-1 sessions with our then 6 month old Labrador to work on good walking behaviours. Claire was very thorough and gave lots of great advice which she would then email in a report for future reference. I am so pleased to say that each week Cassie (now 8.5 months) makes more and more good choices on her walks, and today's morning walk she was an absolute dream 10/10! So proud of her hard work with Claire's training, thanks Claire!

Claire is amazing and knowledgeable! I was nervous at first because our dog is HUGE and very powerful but I am so happy with results this far. Can’t wait to keep implementing what I’ve learned so far and get another 1-1 booked for outside work! Thanks so much :)

Claire gave an excellent 1st time session of over 2 hours, which I totally understood everything. With a follow up report on what her findings were for the 3 dogs, and how to move forward with their barking. I have already put some into place and can start to see a small difference already. Thank you Claire. See you in a few weeks.

We contacted Claire when our Labrador reached 13months old and going for a walk was no longer enjoyable (and often dangerous). Claire was really friendly and knowledgeable and talked us through the behaviours our dog displayed. She left us with a number of things to try which have changed his behaviour and made walking him enjoyable again. I would highly recommend Claire and we are very grateful for her help and knowledge with our dog.

Serving all FK10 postcode areas including Alloa town centre, Sauchie, Tullibody, and Clackmannan, we've successfully trained over 850 dogs across the region in recent years. Our expertise addresses the specific challenges of dog ownership in this compact community, from navigating busy Mill Street to enjoying off-lead exercise at Woodland Park and the extensive trails around Gartmorn Dam.

Why Choose Professional Dog Training in Alloa

Alloa presents distinct training requirements shaped by its blend of town centre activity, residential estates, and accessible countryside. The proximity to excellent outdoor spaces including Gartmorn Dam Country Park and the Ochil Hills provides superb training environments where dogs encounter wildlife, other walkers, and varied terrain. Our trainers specialise in building reliable recall and lead manners essential for safely enjoying these popular local destinations.

The town's compact nature means dogs frequently encounter other canines on daily walks through residential streets and local parks, making proper socialisation and greeting behaviour crucial. We understand local transport links and community expectations, ensuring your dog develops into a well-mannered companion suitable for Alloa's friendly, close-knit atmosphere where responsible dog ownership is valued.

Dog Training Solutions for Alloa Residents

Puppy Foundation Training

Our puppy programmes focus on critical early socialisation during the 8-16 week period, introducing young dogs to Alloa's environment including traffic along Clackmannan Road, crowds at the Speirs Centre, and the varied surfaces found throughout local estates and parks. Training covers house training, crate training, bite inhibition, and essential commands, with controlled socialisation sessions at locations like Woodland Park helping puppies develop confidence and preventing future behavioural issues.

Recall and Off-Lead Training

We develop reliable recall essential for safely enjoying Gartmorn Dam's extensive trails and the hillside paths around the Ochils. Training builds response despite distractions including wildlife, other dogs, and livestock, ensuring owners can confidently provide proper exercise while maintaining complete control in open countryside environments.
