Joana has been so helpful. My dog loved her and she has helped me immensely over just 3 sessions. I have learnt a lot which I will continue to use with my cheeky puppy /teenager . She gave me lots of great tips and advice as well If you are looking for a friendly, knowledgeable dog trainer , then Joana is your girl
Joana is brilliant! Very flexible, knowledgeable and friendly. We had some issues with a rehomed 6yr old dog and the change in just a few sessions has been remarkable. Milo absolutely loves the sessions and Joana is always available should we have questions between sessions.
Joana is a dog genius. She’s been working with our very challenging puppy Milo for several months now, and the difference she has made to our relationship with him is fantastic. We’ve learned so much, and Milo loves nothing more than when she comes round!
We contacted Joana to get some help with helping to socialise our dog and cat, our dog was very vocal and wanted to chase our cat constantly. With Joana’s help, she taught us simple techniques to rewrite those behaviours with positive reinforcement training. It has taken a lot of time and patience but the training has really paid off and now we have confidence that our pets feel more confident and safe around each other. Joana was very professional, friendly and has such a great wealth of knowledge and experience. We are very grateful for all the guidance and would not hesitate to recommend Muddy Trails to anyone in need of help training their dog (or cat!)
I got in touch with Joana through a recommendation for help with my puppies frustration reactivity. Joana has been amazing in giving me tips and on how to approach things in a friendly and manageable way. I am now more confident in my approach on what to do and have seen massive improvements in my dogs behaviour. Would 100% recommend Joana to anyone looking for help with their dogs.

Lisa is awesome. We are part way through training our Labrador puppy with her and already the difference is night and day. She genuinely seems to just ‘know’ how to tackle each situation. 5/5 an outstanding experience! 🐶
We were struggling with Ben's high levels of fear & MY lack of confidence when walking him. Lisa has shown us how to read Ben's body language, to advocate for him when around other dogs (he's very submissive) & given ME much more confidence. I couldn't believe how much less anxious he is if I'm more relaxed/confident when walking him. Lisa's so down to earth & just put us at ease the minute we spoke to her on the phone. She is always there if you need help with any issues. I really like her training methods which help form a strong bond with dog & owner 🐾🤗🐾
Lisa is very easy to talk to and really explains the reasoning behind the different training techniques used. My dog really struggled on walks with pulling as well as reacting to people and other dogs. After just 2 session with Lisa and using her advice in every walk I have already seen such a positive change, it’s almost like walking a different dog.
Lisa is down to earth, telling it how it is, reassuring and calming influence on my partner and I and our dog. Her influence has led us to success with our dog, Mika, and her training. When we contacted her, we were filled with anxieties around having a new dog who was showing a lot of anxiety herself after being rehomed with us. Lisa guided us through, she is always available, and always happy to give advice. We would not be where we are now, without her. Thank you Lisa. We look forward to continuing our journey with you!
Lisa's passion for dogs is palpable and that alone makes the training sessions worthwhile. In the short amount of time that Lisa has been helping us, we've made some incredible progress covering a breadth of topics, allowing us to understand how our dog's behaviour and routine at home can impact his reactivity towards other dogs when out walking. As we continue to learn, Lisa offers support and information which is proving to be invaluable.

I took my timid, small Australian Labradoodle to Tracy for her first Holistic Groom. We had already visited prior to this, so she could feel comfortable in the room, which was so relaxing and filled with calming scent and therapeutic music Tracy was amazing with her and the cut was just as I’d asked, there was even time for a play in the back garden, before I collected her. Tracy is so caring and passionate about everything she does and it’s very reassuring to know Millie is in her capable hands 🐾
Thank you so much for Marnie’s spa day & beautiful groom. Marnie smelt gorgeous and was definitely a pampered pooch. Thank you also for her little accessory on her collar 🥹🫶🏽 You’re the best! 🐾🤍
Gwennie had been home groomed for a while as she is rather nervous with people touching her paws and face. I opted for Henry & me as Tracey specialises in nervous dogs. Gwennie was also rather knotty so I was also rather nervous taking her. Tracey was amazing, calm, relaxing and so loving. We had a meet and explore first then the appointment. When I picked Gwennie up from her groom she was so happy playing with Tracey and having lots of fun . He coat looks fabulous. I would highly recommend "Henry & me Dog Traing & Grooming .
Meg enjoyed a lovely spa treatment, Reiki session and groom with Tracy. She had a lovely time and came back looking and smelling amazing! Tracy was great with her and took her time as it was Meg’s first time with her. The room was air conditioned as it was a hot day and the smell of essential oils and calming music really made the whole experience for Meg as relaxing as possible. She spend the rest of the day fast asleep! We will definitely be returning again soon. Thank you xx
Brilliant puppy training classes that are truly dog centred and really help to strengthen the bond with your dog. We loved that it was all games based and that you build up a little handbook of the games to refer back to. Tracy is a wonderful, patient trainer who really cares about each individual dog and owner. Thoroughly recommend these classes - our puppy, Scout, could not wait to go in each week.

I cannot recommend Graham and South Coast Gundogs enough. I have a sprocker who of a complicated nature. He was scared of life itself, anything and everything, including people. I thought he would spend his life on a long line as his recall wasn't good, his walk to heal wasn't good either, walking off lead was not to bad. After 1-2-1 with Graham, we now have lovely off lead walks, brilliant recall, emergency down, brilliant walk to heal and a very happy dog. We throughly enjoy our walks. If you decide to take your dog training with Graham at South Coast Gun Dog, please take everything that you are told and keep with it, you WILL get what you want. Thank you Graham, from a very happy owner and dog.
Over the last 6 months myself and Ember have attended Grahams Puppy Classes, Bronze and Silver Obedience and a number of 1-1 sessions . Graham has helped us attain a level I could only dream of. Ember is so much happier and free to run without me worrying about her recall . I would highly recommend Graham as trainer and his classes are so informant and hands on, achieving change for the better very quickly . Thank you so much , we will be back after the summer . Phil & Ember
Graham has performed wonders with my high prey driven black Labrador, Lyra. Lyra is a remarkable little dog, but her love for chasing birds made it difficult for her to recall reliably. I used to have to keep her on a long line during walks out of fear that she would run off, get hurt, or harm another animal. However, after just 6 training sessions with Graham, both Lyra and I now have the liberty to roam and savor our walks. Thanks to Graham's guidance, I finally have the well-behaved dog I've always dreamed of. Thank you so much!
Graham is an amazing dog trainer! Unlike the previous 5(!!) trainers I'd used, he tailored his approach specifically for my dog and his issues. After 6 sessions with him, I could finally walk my dog on a lead, and have a reliable recall, after 2 years of other trainers. I genuinely can not recommend him enough! Thanks Graham!
I first went to Graham for a block of 1 to 1s after struggling with my adolescent Springer’s recall and engagement on walks, and we have now done the Bronze obedience course too. In both 1 to 1 and group sessions he gave straightforward advice and instructions that helped me understand my dog’s behaviour and how to train him more effectively. Eddie is now a pleasure to walk off-lead and we are making progress with not pulling on lead too. Graham doesn’t promise quick fixes, and gives genuinely honest advice when you need it (always with good humour) and his training has worked for us - that’s why I’d recommend him and why we’ll be going back for gun dog classes next.

Our dog used to go to DoggyVille when he was a little younger, he was always well looked after and had lots of fun especially on his walks! The team were great, very professional and caring. Would definitely recommend.
My two doggies have been attending Doggyville for a few years now. I must say, that I am extremely grateful to the whole team! They treat my dogs as if they’re family and they go above and beyond and I know that I can leave my dogs and enjoy my day at work knowing that they are being looked after by the best. Thank you Doggyville for everything x
My cockapoo has been going to Doggieville for a few years now, starting when she was about 14 weeks old. Over the past couple of years, I’ve used many of Doggieville's services including daycare, party days, house sitting, and training. The team is incredibly accommodating and always do their best to help, even on short notice, such as picking her up from the groomers. They treat Topsie like one of their own, and she loves seeing the staff just as much as her doggie friends! They always provide updates throughout the day and are happy to help with any dog-related questions. They also take the dogs on lots of different walks. Would highly recommend. Thanks to all the team for your hard work!
Doggieville have been wonderful with our Ebony who is a rescue and was very nervous at first 18 mths ago but she absolutely loves Daycare Days! Highly recommended!
Our Nina is having a fab time at Doggieville. We are so happy with the way she is looked after. I don’t think we could find a better place for her to spend the day with her furry friends.

Waterlooville presents unique training opportunities shaped by its blend of residential areas and proximity to outstanding countryside. The town's excellent access to Queen Elizabeth Country Park, the South Downs Way, and numerous woodland walks means dogs require solid recall training and confidence around livestock, wildlife, and varied terrain. Local parks including Waterlooville Recreation Ground and Stakes Park provide ideal training environments while presenting the challenge of high dog density requiring excellent socialisation skills.
Our trainers specialise in addressing both suburban challenges like navigating busy London Road and the Precinct shopping area, plus rural considerations including sheep awareness for dogs accessing the Downs. We understand the local community's expectations for well-behaved dogs in public spaces and prepare canines for the diverse experiences Waterlooville offers, from town centre visits to countryside adventures.
Our puppy programmes build essential foundations during the critical 8-16 week development period. Training covers house training, basic commands, lead walking, and systematic exposure to Waterlooville's environment including traffic noise, shopping areas, and countryside sounds. Controlled socialisation sessions help puppies develop confidence around other dogs, children, and the mix of urban and rural stimuli they'll encounter throughout their lives.
Given Waterlooville's proximity to the South Downs and extensive countryside access, reliable recall training proves essential. We develop bombproof recall despite distractions including wildlife, livestock, and other dogs, ensuring your companion can safely enjoy off-lead exercise in Queen Elizabeth Country Park and surrounding areas. Training includes livestock awareness protocols vital for responsible countryside access.
Our behaviour modification programmes address leash reactivity, fear-based responses, and aggression issues using positive reinforcement techniques. We work in local environments including Waterlooville's popular walking routes to build tolerance and teach alternative behaviours, helping dogs remain calm when encountering triggers on pavements, in parks, or during country walks.
Dog training in Waterlooville typically ranges from £35-65 per hour for private sessions, with 6-week puppy courses averaging £180-320. Group classes cost approximately £15-25 per session.
